    My new favorite team in the tourney EASILY has to be FGCC. Taking out the #2 seed, and barring an insane collapse, heading to the sweet 16. Amazing!

    Man, we were THIS close to having 2 more B1G teams out. Personally, I would have been extremely happy. They'll still lose. Then, I'll be extremely happy.

    I'm guessing Florida Gulf Coast is on the Gulf Coast of Florida. There is that....Fort Myers. I found out my friend's nephew goes to school there.

    Florida Gulf Coast.....I LOVE MARCH!!!! Schools that you don't even know where in the world they're located taking it to the "big boys". Good stuff!

    9 out of 16 in the first day for me. Pretty typical. I picked against all the B1G teams playing, so that hurt. But, I have no money on it, and it's been fun to watch today. The Badger game should be good....just depends on which Badger team shows up.

    My wife and I use our phones. We had a really good digital camera, lost it when we were taking bluebonnet pics with our oldest after she turned one. We bought another, but rarely use it. We have a video camera, but don't use it. The phone is a lot handier as my girls move SO quick. Just my two cents when it comes to practicality.

    I got Louisville, Gonzaga, Florida and Marquette. Louisville and Marquette in the championship with Louisville winning it all. Doubt it will happen, but that's from watching about 4 whole games in total this year and following as much as I could online.

    So, in the IGT, Torts posted "Mike Fiers is on fiers" which got me thinking of Alicia Keys....here's what I've got so far.     I have a bunch of friends in Sheboygan, specifically at Lutheran. He's THAT good. And will get even better with teaching.

    I used to live in Sheboygan, so seeing lots of FB pictures of all the snow in Sheboygan makes me laugh. 5 years in Texas, and it's much more fun to look at pics of the snow than to live in it, drive in it or shovel it. I'm trying to give sympathy back pains to those who have to shovel! :-)

    That seems understandable to me. The instrument is going to require you to make modifications to the way the song is played. There is also stylistic interpretations as well. One of the current "trends" in worship music today is taking old hymns and writing new parts to it. Chris Tomlin does this repeatedly. Some are good, some are OK, some are.....not that OK. It makes them newer, accessible and in the eyes of some, better. I wouldn't say better, I'd say different. Gives a different track to think about in relation to the lyrics.

    As a church musician, I can kind of understand it. Many churches today don't use the organ. Agreed or not, the guitar is the instrument of choice, acoustic or not. Most hymns were arranged with a chord per note. That's a lot for guitarists. Using more modern chord progressions, slowing the progressions down a bit, sometimes makes it work. But, it's the great part about music. Everyone has their own opinion. One is not better than another.
