Oh, SURE! Where were you this past week when I needed you?????I didn't think about it until today. I was stuffed up for a good portion of the week, but to Mountain Cedar down here in Texas. So finally I thought I'd try the pizza. It worked.

When you really need to clear up a whole bunch of phlegm, a jalapeno and pepperoni pizza does the trick.

Yeah, the wife got a Kindle for Christmas as well. Loves it. I like how easy to read it is, although personally, I'd like it backlit. It's pretty much just like reading a book.

It was a thought. And, no, he's not Ozzie Smith or anything defensively, but he's better than Yuniesky.

If Beltre has signed with the Rangers, wonder what it would take to get Michael Young to be the SS for the Brewers?

Where is Splitter with his rock-solid source?

AMEN!! Our 20 month old does not stay still, and to keep her entertained and occupied is a lot of work. Thankfully, she's getting better at entertaining herself, but her vocabulary is growing by the day, so we have to keep continuing to engage her in the learning, playing and fun!

My wife and I just dealt with this. We had been talking about it (I'm a full-time church Music Director, she was a part-time Youth Director), and then it was decided by the church that her position would be cut starting tomorrow. So, the decision seemed to have been made for us. I'm taking on a few more private music students, taking on any extra weddings, funerals, whatever that brings in money, and she's working a 2 days a week (about 6 hours total) in a childcare at another church, which she can take our daughter to with no cost to us. So, it will be a challenge for us, but it's something we're looking forward to. I think we're all set with outdoor toys, a jog stroller, and we've found plenty of free/inexpensive things for them to be doing during the day so that both aren't in the house all day.

OK, OK, I was trying to be nice. Agreed on the fact that there is no way they're ahead of Milwaukee, Cincy and St. Louis. I think that probably is the order of the top three. Ramirez fell off big time last year, and you never know when Zambrano will blow a gasket, but you know it's coming and it's always fun to watch. While they may finish ahead of Houston, I'm not so sure on that.

0-162 but that's where I see them every year.

I think it would be pretty funny if he could be a closer....I can picture it now.....Jesus saves.

Were you the tipsters on the Grienke trade? Or the gunman in the grassy knoll?
  13. craigharmann
Anyone else keep checking this thread to make sure that there's no announcement that Greinke backed out of the deal and it's off? I still can't believe it. It's awesome! I thought getting a new grill was a great Christmas present, but I was wrong. Zach Greinke is the best Christmas present ever!

I like relish on my relish tray.....but I prefer cheese and meat trays to relish trays. Relish trays are a little too fru-fru for my liking. Give me meat and cheese, chips and dip, and I'm good to go. Especially pigs in a blanket. I'm telling ya, I could eat my weight in those things....and I'm not a little man.

He got starting pitching, but come on, Yuniesky Betancourt as your starting SS? COME ON DOUG!
  16. craigharmann
Wow. All I can say is wow. I wish I could say I had faith in DM all along, but I can't. But he pulled it off! I can't believe it! OK, Gomez/Dickerson will be in CF, which is OK. Betancourt scares me. I can't believe I'd rather have Cruz than Betancourt, but I would. Anyone, but Betancourt. However, WE HAVE ZACH GREINKE!!!! By the way, do you all realize this make Yo our #2, Marcum our #3, Wolf our #4??? That's pretty darn good, compared to the possibility of Yo #1, Marcum #2, Wolf #3, and Pavano #4 and possibly Narveson #5. THIS IS AWESOME!!!! Now, watching the Packers probably not win tonight will be all the more palatable!
  17. craigharmann
That article irritates me. Marcum is rotation filler? And let's pull out every sterotype ever created about Milwaukee. Wow.
  18. craigharmann
Wow. I really don't want to see some of our young talent like Cain, Lucroy or Escobar go, but to get an established ace like Greinke, you gotta go for it! Come on Dougie! Get it done, eh?
  19. craigharmann
I'm definitely rooting for Big Seth! If he makes the Rangers, I will go watch a start of his!
  20. craigharmann
Shoot, I was hoping Gomez would go away.
  21. craigharmann
I have a 20 month old little girl, and I couldn't imagine how devastated I would be if she was gone from my life. Chad and Jamie, you're in my prayers.
  22. craigharmann
The title is hilarious, but to your point, if Melvin could somehow pull of Santana AND Shields for Prince, I'd be all for it.
  23. craigharmann
Oh come on!!! To go with the Prince 3 way title, you couldn't just say the Cubs have Wood?
  24. craigharmann
Hmm.....I may just have to plan a trip over to Houston to watch Bill Hall play!
  25. craigharmann
I believe he's gone back to eating steak and pork and chicken again.
