Damian Miller, Bud Black, and Nick Bierbrodt disagree.
  2. craigharmann
Anything by Eddie Van Halen or Slash should work.

The timing of this is curious to me....why wouldn't they do this immediately after the season....unless they were keeping him on the 40 man until they found a better alternative and that better alternative will be announced soon?
  4. craigharmann
I like Axford, but there are options like Hawkins, Braddock or any other host of guys who could take over.
  5. craigharmann
Those pictures make him look good!!! Hopefully he's the fittest in his career and ready to have a big-time year! We need it!

Hmmm. I don't know. Feels like a bit of an overpay to me.Sorry, whole thing should have been blue....don't know how to do that in a quick reply. I though the second statement would give away the sarcasm. Yes, Hart would be way too much for Blanton, and I'm not really excited about the Brewers picking him up.
  7. craigharmann
What about trading Hart for Blanton? The Phillies need to replace Werth with a big, lanky guy who can grow a sweet beard.
  8. craigharmann
Hmm.....that would be the best choice in my eyes, out of all "available" choices.

While I wouldn't have been too upset with Harden, Webb is the guy I really want DM to target. Hopefully there's a push to get him.

Texas may need Prince, but Mitch Moreland did pretty good for them at first at the end of the year and through the postseason. If they wanted to throw in Moreland with a few prospects for Prince, that wouldn't be bad.

Rosenthal says it's the Phillies. They're now looking to unload Joe Blanton per Jon Heyman's tweet.
  12. craigharmann
It's funny....most of my friends who are fans of the classies have posts on Facebook talking about how it's good riddance to Ryan.....apparently he didn't like wearing suits or something.

I have to commend you on your restraint with this comment, craig. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Wasn't restraint. Just honesty. They're nice to look at. A pain in the rear to live through
  14. craigharmann
The pics are nice to look at.
  15. craigharmann
McCalvy indicates that's the case -- non-guaranteed. And I am much happier because of this.
  16. craigharmann
Wow.....that's huge! I hope Prince chooses to stay and be the big dog in Milwaukee!

This is not descriptive of all people from TEXAS. This is A sports fan and his wife how is really A sports fan and is from a family that is sport ornitated. Not everyone in TEXAS is sport ornitated. And wouldn't every baseball player be A better player if they just played more? I'm not from A sport ornitated family and even I know that. And you have to take with A grain of salt that she believes in MIKE MINOR just like the COWBOYS. The COWBOYS are an OK football team.
  18. craigharmann
Unclassy, that's all it is. He just doesn't fit the Cardinal way of playing baseball.....you know, the right way!
  19. craigharmann
No doubt. If you've got Rickie signed long-term, then it feels a bit better trading an "up and coming" 2nd basemen, even though there are doubts he would stick at 2nd. I like the deal, but would like it even more if Rickie gets signed.
  20. craigharmann
It seems obvious that he's going to try....I just would hope that if a trade is made that not a whole lot of pitching is given up.
  21. craigharmann
    Webb please.
  22. craigharmann
I woke up at 3:30, saw this and thought I was still dreaming. I like the trade. They're talking with Weeks about an extension, and hopefully that can be done, so that shouldn't be a need for a while. Since there really wasn't a position for Lawrie, and the need for pitching, you take the deal. Now either another trade, sign Webb or hope that one of the younger guys has a lights out spring training and takes a spot in the rotation.
  23. craigharmann
This would be my first choice. Pavano would be second.
  24. craigharmann
Thank you, it just came out without a whole lot of thought.
  25. craigharmann
I really hope that Melvin has made that call.....If I were him, I'd be calling at 2:01, once I knew the trade fell through and say, what can we do?
