    I would love to see the Brewers affiliate in San Antonio, but I was under the impression there is a positive relationship between the Missions and the Padres. But the Wolff is a great stadium. In fact, I'm heading out there Friday night to celebrate my birthday with friends. It would be awesome the next time I go out there, I'm watching a Brewers affiliate!

    Once you spend time in Texas, you won't want to leave! Seriously, though, good luck in your interview and your job hunting. The cost of living down here really isn't all that expensive, especially if you've got housing taken care of.

    Watching Texas high school football on ESPN. The game is about 3 miles from my house, and the only thing that would be better is standing on the sideline, like my buddy offered me a chance to.

    I got Pat Listach's autograph during his rookie year, and it was the night after he hit his first ML homer in Boston. I said "Awesome homer Mr. Listach" and he flashed this big smile and said thanks. That's about all I got.

    When in Chicago, laugh at Cubs fans. That's always a favorite pastime. As for shopping, Michigan Ave is always a great area to go.

    What about combining bad offense with bad defense? Then, and only then, would you have the worst position player.

    Yes, that would be perfect, and I would have to get season tickets, but I think that relationship is pretty solid. But you never know!

    My votes right there! Selfishly, of course, but I'm a 3 hour drive from CC and a 5 hour drive from Midland. And they'd be coming here to San Antonio to play a lot, so I'd get to watch our guys play! Edit: By the way, Midland has a really nice stadium, and Corpus Christi has a great stadium, right on the bay!

    Works for me! Nashville only gets to Round Rock about once or twice a season, so I can't always get up there to watch a game. OKC, now that's a bit better when it comes to scheduling, because then I can maybe get up there a little easier.

    He burned his own bridges by throwing the ball into the Brewer dugout on purpose.

    I really wonder if that bridge has been burned with Hardy, with the being sent down to AAA and then being traded. Why would he want to come back? I'm sure he believes he can be a starter.

    I almost feel dirty for saying this, but am I the only one who's thinking this might POSSIBLY be a good thing? If it's the cause of Arnett's problems, sure. But my concern is that, like with a few other guys, they're DL'd for a minor arm problem, and the next announcement is they are having surgery and will be out for the season. It concerns me about the medical staff, major league and minor league.

    I'm hoping that in another week or two we're not hearing that Arnett is having to have TJ surgery or something.

    Looking at Sickels' list, I was surprised he gave Arnett a B, and the comments were less than glowing....but Cain gets a C+?? Not so sure about that.

    Good that Lo made him expendable. It will be interesting to see what happens when (or if) Gomez comes back from the DL. Would he be sent down? Would Lo?
