  1. If the Cubs win tomorrow, in all probability, the Brewers will be at least a game back in the wild card standings.
  2. This is the low point of the season---worse than the no-hitter. Losing 6-0 and 5-0 leads on back-to-back days and allowing an 0-10 pitcher to get his first win is sickening. The Brewers were showing flashes of dominance, but took a sharp 180 this weekend.
  3. Anybody know why Hall left the game??
  4. Cubs have taken a 1-0 lead in the 4th.
  5. Gallardo doing his best Claudio Vargas imitation tonight, so far.
  6. Completely burning out the bullpen is not how you want to start a string of 8 games in 7 days True, but the Brewers are fortunate that Capuano was able to pitch 8 strong tonight.
  7. Who's gonna blink first?? The Brewers need to score because the Reds offense will be able to muster a walkoff HR in the near future.
  8. This game is similar to this game against the Reds last year: www.baseball-reference.co...6140.shtml I remember that that game was on ESPN and the Brewers stranded a leadoff double by Koskie in the 9th, only to lose 3-0 on a Dunn walkoff in the 11th. We'll see what happens in this AB...
  9. That 11th inning chokejob is something we'd be laughing at the Cubs for doing. I can't believe they screwed that up.
  10. Please, Brewers. Don't find a way to screw this one up.
  11. Wow, this game is at 2 hours, 25 minutes and we're in the 11th inning. Let's punish the Reds bullpen, now.
  12. Wow, that was a cruel camera angle. I thought that was gone for sure.
  13. Good work by Turnbow...his stuff looked electric tonight.
  14. Ugh, of course the "rally" had to happen with two outs.
  15. There's no way the Brewers can get swept at home by the Giants. Is there?
  16. Suppan is using alll of Miller Park so far.
  17. The Cubs have four games in STL, while the Brewers have four in CIN. IMO, even though the Reds have been playing better, advantage Brewers.
  18. Cardinals vs. Braves is scheduled for Sunday night this week. I don't think ESPN can change their plans three days in advance.
  19. Barry Bonds vs. Carlos Zambrano is the ultimate battle of two temperamental, ego-maniacs. Go Barry!
  20. Speaking of Saturday, for those who are interested in the FOX telecast... msn.foxsports.com/other/story/5619630 The game will be broadcasted to 9% of the nation by Kenny Albert, Mark Grace, and Ken Rosenthal. This game pretty much takes back seat to the Mets, Dodgers, and Red Sox.
  21. If, indeed, the Bucks trade Yi, I'm looking forward to seeing him play at the Bradley Center and booing my lungs out. This predicament is a serious problem for the NBA (competitive balance) and David Stern needs to take a stand.
  22. Largest crowd in MP History: Cubs 8, Brewers 4 Saturday, September 6, 2003 46,218
  23. Dave Roberts and Pedro Feliz don't inspire a whole lot of confidence. Hopefully Lincecum can pitch a gem tonight.
