  1. I'm surprised you didn't post McGehee's projection without Gamel's. It's .757 FWIW.
  2. That would be depressing.
  3. Haha. I just read the "article". Hall posted a .606 OPS with us and a .578 OPS with Seattle. The people who write on that site are absolutely clueless.
  4. Bleacher Report is just a gigantic fail of a website.
  5. But a top 5 pick is far better than 11-15.
  6. I think we'd be more screwed if we made a "legit run at the 8th seed."
  7. Throwing strikes is overrated. By Joe Saunders Foreward by Manny Parra
  8. He had Tommy John in June and it takes about a year to come back, so maybe a half year.
  9. Yeah, that would definitely qualify.
  10. Here is the thread. The Jurrjens/Kawakami/Schafer for Braun/Gamel/Stetter deal had me laughing.
  11. Easily for Hanson and Heyward. Depends on who the other prospects are in the other deal.
  12. Can you really call it a down season? He was mashing in AAA until they brought him up to sit on the bench for two months.
  13. A Rob Wooten sighting! Gameday only had his fastball around 87.
  14. Butler gets into trouble in the 1st inning allowing singles to the first two hitters, but then gets a flyout, groundout and flyout to get out of the inning. Taylor Green is now in the game after Scott Sizemore left with an injury. Green takes over at 3rd and C.J. Retherford moves from 3rd to 2nd. Javelinas hit two homers off Strasburg in the 1st inning. One a two-run homer by Russ Mitchell and the other a solo shot by C.J. Retherford. Cain struck out looking and Green struck out swinging against Strasburg. Butler gives up a leadoff homer to Corey Brown to leadoff the 2nd. 3-1 Javelinas.
  15. Gameday link Box score Cain and Lucroy are in the lineup today. Butler is the starting pitcher and he's going up against Stephen Strasburg.
  16. It's like the Cactus League. Arizona games during the day the ball usually travels pretty well.
  17. He's right there looking at him too. That's the lamest excuse for sucking that I've ever seen.
  18. Gameday link Box score Only Green is in the lineup. Braddock pitched yesterday and Rogers pitched the day before, so it's unlikely that they pitch today. Maybe today will be the day Wooten gets to pitch.
  19. Oh, I completely agree that there's talking and everything, but if you have a kid that can't sit still and just talk for an hour and has to get up and run around, then that's probably not the place to go. Now if he has no problem sitting at the table and talking for a while, then that's a great place to take him. I'm just giving a little warning that there's not a ton to do if he gets bored easily (didn't know about the gameroom in Brookfield) so that would probably be an okay place to take him if he gets bored.
  20. Marty's is delicious. I haven't been to the one in Brookfield, but the one in Delafield is more of a sit down, quiet type of place. If he gets bored easily, that might not be the place to go. It's sort of expensive too, but it's worth it. Don't know about the price you're willing to spend or if he gets bored easily, but if money isn't an issue and he'll be fine sitting for up to an hour waiting, then I would go with Marty's.
  21. These umpires are disgraceful. McClellan should be fired.
  22. Boras is delusional if he thinks a team is going to offer Ankiel that much.
  23. Zach Braddock inherits a 1st and 2nd nobody out jam and gives up a run scoring single to Ryan Kalish but then proceeds to strikeout one of the top prospects in baseball Mike Stanton. After missing with a first pitch slider, he throws three straight fastballs, the first two swinging strikes and the last a called strike to get the strikeout. He then hit Chris Parmalee with a pitch before getting Matt Dominguez and Steve Singleton to popout to end the inning.
  24. Good days for the Brewers hitters so far. Cain 2-4 with a double and two RBI's Lucroy 2-2 with a walk Green 1-3 Hopefully Wooten gets to pitch one of these days.
