  1. it is crazy that the brewers are still keeping their team store as the really only option to buy new logo stuff. If you change the logo, you should want people to have access to it. Really unless you live in Milwaukee you are out of luck. I would have figured after the Christmas season, the normal outlets would start selling the rebrand.
  2. I didn't realize he was only 29, he is a good player to take a chance on to see if something is still there.
  3. I never thought I'd do it, but I did order the road alternative from them and should be getting it this week. More out of curiosity, i rarely wear jerseys anymore, prefer to wear a polo to the game anyway.
  4. they will rename it, we just don't know to what. It will NOT be associated with American Family though I heard.

    Pizza

of the fast food pizza chains, papa john's is my favorite, but admittingly i haven't had it in years and papa john recently said it has changed. We normally get pizza hut which is perfectly fine for what it is, there isn't really a papa john's close to us anymore to deliver. favorite forzen pizza is Emil's.
  6. pretty interested to see who they bring in for their "90's concert".
  7. https://www.mlb.com/brewers/news/brewers-2020-minor-league-coaching-staffs I think the biggest surprise is Henderson moving up from Wisconsin to San Antonio, with Dabney getting demoted to Biloxi. A bunch of new names that I am too familiar with.
  8. AFF is on par with that. I think overall mlb stadium names are pretty good. Its the NBA or NFL where there are some clunkers.
  9. also its not like its globe life park, citizens bank park or the worst guaranteed rate field
  10. This, completely this... 100% agree too. I am interested to see the signage outside the stadium. The big miller park sign on the roof looked so good. With a longer name and different script, i just hope it fits in as well.
  11. this is of no surprise since it matches the brewers spring training home. once the maryvalle facility was renamed and american family was announced as the title sponsor it was pretty easy to connect the dots.
  12. I'll be interested to see if there are any changes to defensive coaching staff. They started the season wonderfully, but I thought they got worse as the season went on.
  13. It will be a good game, excited to see the SF defense against the KC offense. It sucks that the packers aren't in, but if we are being honest with ourselves, we knew it was a longshot at best. This isn't like the Seattle NFC title game or anything. I am kind of surprised that KC is the slight favorite going into the game.
  14. that is true, i was talking more from a baseball point of view, i have no idea what he was involved with on the cheating front. From his time here, i'd be shocked if he was. Maybe it would be best for these teams to go completely outside the organization which is why these retreads are being interviewed.
  15. If i were the astros, I'd let Espada be interim this year and see how it goes. Red Sox could go safe and hire Roenicke, or the flashy, popular hire of Varitek. No ideas what the mets would do, hopefully they don't hire Murphy at this late stage of the winter. Hiring retreads like Washington or Showalter seems like such a bad idea, you might as well just go the interim route this year and relook at it next fall. One guy that is out there unemployed who i think would be a great manager is Loretta.
  16. It’s a head coaching job in a power 5 school of a team that should be good next season. Tough to turn down. Win for a few seasons there and get a much better job.
  17. David Aranda did get the Baylor job. I was very impressed by him during his time here and think he will do an excellent job, but one would think bigger things are in store for him than Baylor.

    Pizza

Growing up my favorite spot was Guido G's on the southside in Milwaukee, which closed years ago. Favorite spots now, Maria's Pizza, Pizza Shuttle, Balistreri's
  19. Didn't another team request permission to talk to Stearns about their open GM position and it was denied. I think its a non-story.
  20. Not really the same. The average players salary increases each year. The value of the franchise went up 200 million least year. I understand that the brewers have other expenses than just payroll though. However I understand, In the last few season they made some significant upgrades to the stadium, renovated their Spring training stadium, bought a single a team, etc. that money does come from somewhere. I get why fans are frustrated, as there has been no dip in attendance and I am a little bit too, but we don’t know the whole financial picture of the team. Nobody wants to win more than mark a, so I’m just hoping this all works out.

  22. This could be the move this offseason, that is not liked by many fans that turns out to be genius. Stearns is good for one a year. Last year it wasn’t until the trade deadline though.

  24. I hate to be "that guy", but the value of the franchise is significantly more than it was in 2018. According to Forbes the brewers franchise was worth 1B in 2018 and 1.2B in 2019. Avg salaries have increased too in the last 2 years. I think, fans should be able to expect, atleast a minor increase in payroll.
