  1. isn't the Hauser talk better suited for the badger thread. I wish them the best but I am focused on who is playing for Marquette next season?
  2. Middleton is clearly #1. you can probably sacrifice brogdon since you are paying Bledsoe. Hill has an option for 18MM which will be declined. Would be nice to bring back either lopez or Mirotic, with Lopez being a higher priority for me.
  3. Wojo signed a 5 year contract extension today, which locks him up through 2023-24. While contracts in the NCAA mean no more than what is the buyout, I am kind of surprised. Yes, this does allow recruits to know that there is stability in the program, but after loosing the Hausers, I think MU could be in for a tough season next year, even with Howard. Seems like pretty good job security for a man that has not won a NCAA tournament game yet.
  4. Its not as good as it used to be, I really only listen to the weekly brewers segment with Fireman Jim and the sports report with Tim Murray. He is just as good as Czaban IMHO. Regarding expectations, sports talk in general here gets low ratings and with 3 sports talk stations, I have no idea how everyone makes enough money to keep operations running. 97.3 has been smart in starting a new station with established names that are known in the market. I think he will plunk a few listeners from WSSP and B&B and thats all 97.3 wanted. Still think it gets a 1 rating, because thats what sports talk gets around here.
  5. FINALLY announced and official. The Steve Czaban show airing on 97.3FM from 6-9am. I will definitely give it a try. Pretty funny that is competing directly with B&B. Will be interesting to see how he does here.
  6. He will fit in with his current job with wwe well
  7. I think they had a great 2nd day. my selfish hope is for TJ Edwards in the 5th.
  8. When I used to go I would park about 2 miles away on Addison and just walk into the stadium. Its much easier leaving too and free.
  9. point taken, my only point was that we don't know what really is going on, which turned out to be true. Hockenson's value was not falling as was speculated and he went about where I thought he would (7/8)
  10. point taken, my thought was they used their 1st 2 picks last year on corners. I wouldn't be upset if they get Williams as you can never not have enough at corners, but eventually you need to address the other side of the ball and give ARod some help.
  11. I used to listen to indie music and loved finding stuff that nobody has heard of, now not so much. More of just enjoying good old fashioned rock. I have been enjoying the new Royal Bliss album that dropped last week.
  12. seems like the value is in Brown, Smith, Taylor or Ford in the 2nd. Also someone like Greedy Williams, doesn't really fill a need but definitely is a faller. Alot of OL talent out there besides the 2 I mentioned.
  13. . Obviously packers hoping he is the next earl thomas. Heard the raiders were after him at 24. I’m happy they kept their 2 and would love brown or harry here. Sad that they missed out on the Iowa tight ends, just not sure if smith is the answer but he would fit a need. I just hope they go offense tomorrow, after focusing on defense in free agency and today
  14. hopefully it’s just their second and 30.
  15. If we’re going on the record, I would have taken Jawaan Taylor. I thought that’s who they were moving up to take for the record.
  16. I would have drafted Wilkins. I don’t hate the pick, but his lack of production scares me. Most of the players I targeted were gone, so I would have preferred to trade down. Hopefully Pettine can light a fire under his read end.
  17. obviously you only do this if there are multiple players that you like around and you are sure you will get one where you move down to. I fully support a trade like last year, I also wouldn't be upset if they packaged their "free" pick with 12 to move up, to get one of the elite defenders. There are all of these teams talking about trading down, but besides the Skins, I have not heard about teams looking to get into the top 10.
  18. I'll stand by that statement. QB's are so overvalued at this time of the year because if you don't have one you have no chance to win. So teams reach and grab one when there are players there that have a much better chance to contribute. I did look at Matt Miller's big board and there isn't a QB in the top 12 and only 2 in the top 32. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2832566-matt-millers-final-2019-nfl-draft-big-board#slide1 I will agree that there is no QB for the packers. the only thing that would make sense to me is getting rosen for a 2, but i doubt that will happen.
  19. Obviously bringing him up doesn’t solve the brewers biggest issue, but I think after the super 2 deadline if Jesus is still batting as bad as he is it does make sense to bring him up and move moose to 1st.
  20. While I don’t think any of these players will be around at these picks, my A plus draft for the packers is 1a Oliver 1b Fant or Brown 2 Harry or I. Smith I am ok if they go offensive line at 12, like some suggested or get a pass rusher like bruins at 12. I think the only disaster pick is metcalf at 12. Oliver is impossible to get a read on I’ve seen him between 3-14 today. The quality of this first pick will depend on how many teams reach for a web above 12. I will be celebrating each one that does. In my humble opinion there isn’t a single quarterback worthy of going in the top half of the 1st based on ability alone, with the possible exception of Murray (who has no business going first overall)
  21. Here is the one having bush go 30. I get that, my point is that nobody knows, so it’s foolish to speculate on who is falling or rising. Even the “experts” don’t. It’s fun to speculate on who they will take and who you want, but that will most likely lead to disappointment. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2019/mock-drafts/charles-davis/376552 To prove my point the same website has another mock from the same day with bush 12. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2019/mock-drafts/Rhett-Lewis/376553
  22. Most mocks I see have Ferrell in the high 20's
  23. YES! 100% agreed. he is a stopgap at most, while we figure out what the heck our next move.
