I'd guess that's why the Brewers had to throw in cash. Wouldn't be surprised if the Brewers were paying all of hills 2016 salary

I dont understand the angst either, anything they got for hill is a bonus and opens up playing time for someone younger like Perez. Plus Hill was a player that they had to take to get Anderson and Diaz in the Segura trade, to turn that into a young prospect and a 27 year old who could be a 5th starter in September and next year is all positive.

It's about what you would expect for him

Bucks are in talks to get dunleavy, isn't he just an older version of the guy the Bucks got from the Suns? Edit: he was traded to the cavs thankfully

i would have preferred that they took Sabonis or Ellenson if they wanted a young big man with upside. There would be alot less questions and concern. I also don't like the idea of selling a pick with NBA free agency is so crazy since 2nd round draft picks are cheap players with no risk on short term deals. for the most part, hammond has done OK with the draft so I will give him the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

per brewers twitter page. wouldn't make a start till after the all star break so it makes sense with the lack of Outfielders.

little early to call the draft disasterous since Maker has yet to even play a summer league game. I also wouldn't call Delly a "bargain" they are still paying 9.5 million for a guy who played about 12 minutes a game in the finals. He does fit a need though and that is the going rate I guess.

rumors are that he will sign a 5 year / 145 million extension tomorrow https://sconniesportstalk.com/2016/07/03/greek-report-giannis-to-sign-five-year-extension-worth-145-million/

he is on my team too, he has not been good the last 2 weeks (batting .121), which coincides pretty well with said incident.

i wish this wouldn't get out until the investigation is completed, to avoid posts like above. nobody knows the facts so to say that he is guilty or the victim is a liar is pointless right now. I understand in todays culture this is impossible.

Pinero signed for 375,000. does anyone have any information on him with regards to how he was rated last season. i only could find he wasn't a top 30 player.
  12. patrickgpe
Wade cancelled his meeting with the bucks tomorrow, which is fine. i didn't see the fit for 20 million a year.
  13. patrickgpe
he will be on the team for a few weeks as an audition and then DFA'd if he isn't producing like so many before him this season, so i can't get worked up about this one.

Meeting with wade next week so there could be more going on

Howard to the Hawks, Bucks dodge that bullet
  16. patrickgpe
The Bucks need someone with some scrappyness. That being said I watch no nba except for the Bucks so I can't comment on his dirtiness It appears the Bucks improved their shooting and defense today which is what I wanted from the offseason
  17. patrickgpe
how does turner get twice as much as delly?
  18. patrickgpe
Bucks signing Delly to an offer sheet 4/38. I would expect (hope) the cavs match, but the signing is less than the 12 million he was expected to get and by the way funny money is flowing around the NBA i don't hate this.
  19. patrickgpe
bucks just gave 3/30 to Mirza Teletovic, who i can't say i ever heard of.

Was just coming to post this. Two years. Wow. Moron... don't think that mayo was in the plans. but this effectively ends his career.
  21. patrickgpe
sixers give Bayless 3/27. free agency is officially out of control.
  22. patrickgpe
Wow, OJ Mayo dismissed and disqualified from the NBA for violating the NBA anti-drug program.
  23. patrickgpe
Jeremy Lin just got 12 million / yr from the Nets and Timofey Mozgov just got 16 million / yr from the Lakers. the contracts are completely insane so far. This scares me on what the bucks will do once they get active.
  24. patrickgpe
every single player linked to the bucks doesn't excite me at all. (delly, bazemore). I don't think (thankfully) that Howard is feasible. Honestly if the bucks brought in 1 or 2 mid priced vets (like they did with zaza, dudley, and bayless Id be happy)

I think if the brewers are going to trade Lucroy, they have to get a corner IF back. Zunnino doesn't do much for me,
