  1. I like this strategy. much less risk than drafting high school arms.
  2. seems to me that all of the college arms they are drafting profile as relievers, is that accurate?
  3. id love funkhouser, he has definitely lost some cash for going back to school, i don't think he will be around with the 5th pick though.
  4. Brian Kenny seemed pretty uncomfortable with Reynolds strong opinion
  5. I was going to post similar. I find it interesting that posters feel they know more than guys who jobs are on the line and whole life is spent watching these players. I didn't like the pick, but it's based on reading what other posters and experts have said. I have seen a 2 minute video and that's it if Ray. It's ok to have an opinion and be passionate about it but I don't understand the infighting
  6. I'll judge the Ray pick afte4 they make their next 2 picks
  7. I hope reports on ray are wrong. Would be happy with groome, puk, Rutherford or lewis
  8. I hope it's not ray. I'm fine with any of the 3 pitchers, Rutherford, or lewis
  9. Puk, im guessing that he can be had cheaper than Groome
  10. i stream the games on fox sports go (you need to have a cable subscription) if you do not have cable, i do believe that MLB.TV would be the best legal way to watch
  11. Tigers select Matt Manning, RHP, Sheldon HS (Sacramento, Calif.) at 1.9
  12. Aren't the Brewers just 6 or 7 games out of the wild card?. The best players should be up and he is one of them. Arcia saves at least one hit a game. I have watched a majority of the Colorado Springs games and every day he is making unbelievable plays. Bring him up! The Brewers need to focus on 2018 with all moves they make. Villar has been good, let's see how scooter does over a full 2016 and then figure out what to do with all 3 next spring training
  13. 1.7 Perez, seems like a logical pick, geography wise and I'm surprised he is still on the board. I think the Marlins would be happy with this scenario
  14. 1.6 Senzel i agree on messaging picks to keep other picks from influencing others. I do like this draft though,
  15. Gilbert Lara would disagree. The Brewers obviously will never be the spenders the dodgers are, and an international draft is the only way to correct this, but they do take their swings every now and then.
  16. Barnes has earned his opportunity, welcome to the show Jacob!
  17. It's a tough call with how the board shook out but the Brewers select Riley Pint at 1.5
  18. I always believed that drafting pitching (especially high school) is very risky. The brewers haven't exactly had the best luck with this. Perez is an interesting pick, and I would be fine with this pick. The pick I am pushing is Senzel, he is an advanced player that could be up in 2-3 years when the brewers rebuild (knock on wood) is rapping up. I would also like Corey Ray. Personally I would be fine with the 3 high school pitchers, Senzel, Ray, or Perez. My preference would be a college bat though.
