This is a four player draft. You don't move out of the top 4 unless you are getting an offer you absolutely can't refuse. The 5th pick, a late 1st and an early 2nd isn't that type of offer. agreed plus have 3 2nd round picks of their own, they couldn't use all of these realistically.

early indications is that the cavs favor embiid, which probably means that wiggins is the pick.

I think its simple, if wiggins is on the board take him, if not take parker. Embid may turn into a Dwight howard type player but the bucks can't mess this up with a greg oden type player. This isn't a draft like last year with more questions than answers. if the 2nd prize is a parker its not bad. He is from Chicago and as a devout Mormon he is not going to complain about the lack of Milwaukee night life. could be a great fit.

the issue that isn't being mentioned that there are atleast 3 pitchers for Nashville who have shown so far that they deserve a chance in Milwaukee, and only wooten has gotten the call (nelson, fiers). the wang experiment as results in a tired pen and the season is only 1/4 finished. I'd bring up fiers since his future as a starter isn't as bright as nelson. -
i have no idea why the NBA does the lottery in secret. With computers they can easily search in seconds what combination belongs to what team. It would make for much more dramatic TV and also ease the concerns of fans that it is rigged. Its really one of the top things i wish silver would change in the NBA.

i'm glad that is over. Hopefully the bucks can clean house and the new owners can get their new guys hired before the draft.

Hopefully the sales is finalized today and official evaluations can begin. Hammond needs to go, he told everyone that he built a team to make the playoffs and they promptly had the worst record in the league, and none of his signings appear to have worked out. I will admit that he has done a good draft drafting players in general though. Drew was never really given a fair chance, but circumstances should lead to his dismissal too. There were 9 openings in the NBA so far, so the bucks need to move fast. I'll get disagreement on this but I'd look at Mike Woodson as a replacement. This year was a mess but last year he did a good job of turning around a knicks team that was pretty much the same as when he took over.

everytime I have went, I have just driven and parked about 2 miles away from the park off of Addison and just walked. never really had an issue, by the time the game is over it is relatively easy to get back home.

in a perfect world when Gorzo comes back WCW is the player that is removed off of the 25 man roster, but I doubt that would happen. I have no clue who would be taken off of the roster. Duke and Smith has proven that they belong on the roster and I can't see having 4 lefties in the pen (even if one never plays). I guess Wooten could go back to AAA, but once Henderson returns you have the same issue.

there are now 7 coaching vacancies. I really hope that the NBA transfers ownership this week, so the new owners can formally evaluate hammond and drew. The bucks already will not be able to land top candidates, but I think they can get a quality coach with a top draft pick. They just have to make sure that the top candidates are not all gone.

Herrera didn't show much during his first stint here, but I agree its probably him only because of his versatility. I wish it was Morris, but a platoon of him and Overbay doesn't make sense. The benefit of having Reynolds on the team is that you don't have to bring up a 3rd baseman. Herrera can spell Reynolds at 1st then.

those were the bucks best uniforms, I know many fans do not like living in the past but its such a trend in the NBA I could see the bucks doing it. Atlanta just added an updated retro logo

probably reading too much into this, just went onto the bucks website, red has been completely removed from the scheme of the website. It is the two toned green. Could a logo / uniform change be in the very near future.

interesting news today with the announcement of an annual challenge of big east and big 10 teams. There was speculation that the annual UW- MU game would be part of this. I really hope that is not the case. It would be great for Marquette to get to play a B16 team each season in addition to their annual game with UW.

the brewers can contend for the division. I think it is insane to keep a player who cannot contribute to the roster. The brewers are working on a 24 man roster. The pen will not be able to hold up for a full season. I agree that Wang hasn't cost us a win yet, but how long can this last. RR has to use his pen differently because he has one less guy than every other team. -
I do not like the makeup of the roster in the current form. I hope there is a juco transfer or something to come. they have 1 center and PF and 2 small forwards. How are they are going to get through the big east with no interior players to defend. I do not mind the transfer of Carlino, but they better get a big or 2 that is eligible for next season.

The issue is that they only had 10 players under scholarship, they needed to sign someone. I agree though that they would be better off getting a SF, PF, or C if they would wanted to do the 1 and done route.

everything that i read on his is that his shooting is his weakness. I do like the pickup since Derrick Wilson didn't show me much as a full time starter but I hope adding a 1 and done player doesn't hamper duane wilson's growth.

during the week bucks games are pretty easy to go to. Parking is pretty easy to find on Michigan Avenue or the area by the freeway or the area north of the BC by the McKinley onramp. Weekends can be a different story. It really just depends on what else is going on downtown. The parking structure is a much larger hassle than it is worth. It can take a pretty long time to get out after largely attended bucks games and also depending on low you park, it is very difficult to back out of your spot unless someone lets you in. I know its not exactly easy to get out of Miller Park after the game, but there really isn't many other options

Maybe they know something that the public doesn't. Hopefully there are private investors lined up to contribute to the arena. I think any public money is a 50/50 proposition of passing at the best.

its going to be hard for MU to compete with the big 10 and ACC conference schools. I think the big east has definitely taken a back seat. If Stone picks MU over UW, I think that is huge. It is just 1 recruit, but considering UW's run last season and the fact that the big 10 is atleast the 2nd best conference in the country.

let him serve it now and let gomez appeal. As long as Lucroy stays healthy the brewers will be fine. They are really low on OF's right now with Schafer being in the DL.
