if reports are true and Memphis is joining the Big East, i think that is very good for Marquette. While they may never be as good as they were under Calipari, they are still a good basketball program. Id like the Big East to pluck away an Xavier or Temple. It makes sense regional and it adds another good basketball school to the mix. Not sure if there is an advantage staying in the A-10 when you have a chance to join the big east. I understand adding CFU and Houston. I don't see what the advantage of adding SMU. If you are just trying to get into the Dallas market, fine but its not like they have been all that great in basketball and football of late. Houston at least has a track record of recent success. Overall the changes do not make the big east better than they are right now, but it makes them a competitve conference once again instead of falling to the wayside which could have happened.

pretty predictable but Laurenitis was not fired this morning. Overall I thought Raw was pretty bad too. Would have like to see Brodus clay fight someone (also would like him to go against a non-Superstars quality opponent) instead of all of the videos.

yeah only problem is that there is no chance punk loses at the elimination chamber now, which is fine, but i don't like when the telegraph matches ahead of time by building for a match that is 7 weeks away

id do Green for LaPorta. The brewers need a power hitter off of the bench and Green is probably blocked. If you bring in LaPorta you have 2 young players that can play 1st. if nothing else its a good lefty-righty platoon. not sure if the tribe wants to get rid of him.

well there will be atleast 1 new starting pitcher next season and maybe a new shortstop. I am sure they didn't think much about 2013 and instead came up with the 6 bobbleheads they thought would be the most popular.

i agree, that your schedule is better, my only point was it seems that minus the 40th anniversary year, where the brewers did no current players, the brewers of late give away a bobblehead of their biggest off season acquisition (Hoffman, Grienke, Ramirez)

its still a crapshoot, all the elite players are still freshmen and you can't really know much about a player playing 1 year of college basketball. i know some are obvious. I am a player like Barnes will have a good nba career, but where the bucks are picking, who knows?

ramirez makes sense because there is 0% chance he won't be on the team in september. Marcum, Greinke, KRod, could be dealt if the brewers are not in the race. I am sure they didn't do a Braun MVP due to the pending appeal process. If they produce 50K bobbleheads and there is a re-vote, it would be bad.

giving this a bump since new shows came back last night. overall wasn't much of a fan of last nights, only because it seems like the focus half their show on jim vs dwight pranks or their rivalry now just about every week. you kind of get sick of the show being focused on those two every week.

didn't he quit the wwe for some time to return back home to India? They need to balance out the rosters at their draft or just do away with it (my preference). Its dumb to have smackdown starts on raw each week and not vice versa. I usually only watch Raw anyway but it makes these 6 man matches pretty lame. Also Smackdown has alot more of the same wreslters fighting each PPV for 3 months stuff that Raw doesn't have to do. (Christian vs Orton last year etc)

the great khali? the first 5 were obvious and could have been predicted on sunday night. the problem is that smackdown has 7 fighters that they could possibly put in on of these things, henry is hurt and sheamus won the RR. Shows how much Henry's injury affected the EC
