  1. just saw the list, i am definitely going to the avett brothers and fitz and the tantrums. would like to see Joss Stone. can't wait for dates to come out though so i can start plotting.
  2. latest rumors have the bucks trying to move livingston and/or Mbah a Moute. don't get moving Mbah a Moute, he has a very favorable contract and is the best defensive player on the team. I guess its to free up space to sign Ersan. They do need to move some of their 4's. Right now this is a team full of PF's and no centers.
  3. on the fence, ellis is only here next season. the best thing that could happen to the bucks is not to make the playoffs and be in position to draft sullinger
  4. the afternoon games he is calling should be interesting; louisville vs davidson and new mexico vs long beach state. too bad i will be at work as i took thursday off to watch marquette and couldn't justify to the boss to take 2 days off to watch college basketball.

  6. from what i saw as rumored as return, bucks fans are going to be disappointed. i heard a package javelle mcgee from the wizards or dalembert and courtney lee from houston.
  7. Vince seems so obsessed with keeping everyone healthy for Wrestlemania, and his TV shows have really suffered. I will agree wit Brett that the Sheamus and Ziggler match was good but that was about it. I didn't need to see Rock singing off a sheet of paper with the lyrics on it (coupled with last week reading notes off of his arm) or Cena bringing back a character he used 10 years ago. I understand that triple h and undertaker will not take a hit before Wrestlemania, but the promos have been rather lame and they really don't have much to say. The punk's dad was an alcoholic angle is lame. Also to have otunga and santino captaining the 12 man tag match leaves alot to be desired. i know wrestlemania will be a great show, but it can't come soon enough...
  8. there is a circle that rapidly changes in size, you press "X" to lock in the target and the ball will appear somewhere inside that circle. the problem with it, even, with the best pitchers the size of the target in the smallest form makes it hard to paint the corners. in the largest form the ball could end up anywhere, it also seems like the ball always appears on the edges of the target and not in the middle.
  9. on yahoo name:brewerfan.net group id 125591 password: brauny please use your brewerfan.net handle so we know who each other is.
  10. anyone interested in a bf.net pool, if so would people prefer yahoo or espn?
  11. Well, I ask because I'm sure Illinois would love to talk to Buzz and Tom Crean left Marquette for a struggling Big 10 team just a couple years ago (Indiana was a bigger mess then than Illinois is now although I admit Indiana's program has more historical prestige than Illinois). Buzz has built a good program though so I doubt he'd be interested. i think indiana is a way better job than illinois, even with the sanctions that Crean dealt with. I agree some mid major coach will use a tourney run to land this job.
  12. Buzz is paid around 2 million a season. I don't think Buzz would be interested in Illinois. I have long assumed that if a job like Texas was available, he would be interested. I don't know why you would leave a solid program in the big east for a struggling team in the big 10.
  13. I'd much rather see them move Jennings than Bogut if they are going to blow it up. its so hard to find a center and he is probably in the top 5 of the league. i am not sure how high his value would be being hurt each of the last 3 seasons. that being said if some team wants to throw picks and young players at hammond, then go ahead. If its just for a team to take Jackson without the bucks taking on significant money, then i oppose the move. I think it makes sense to move Ersan. I think the injuries of bogut has increased his stock level. if he does intend to play in turkey next season, then the bucks should try to get something for him. I would really love for the bucks to give harris, leuer, and sanders a chance to play so the bucks can evaluate them. I know harris and sanders have been given increased minutes, but why leuer sits confuses me.
  14. when i saw the news that bernies real chalet was coming back I got really excited, too bad its just another store
  15. I had a chance to play it for a little bit yesterday. the new pulse pitching is very hard and pretty stupid. I think for now i will put it back into the analog pitching mode. The hitting is pretty difficult, having to control the location with L3 and then swinging with R3. I wish it was like 15 years ago when i had all of the time in the world to practice, these days i get a few hrs a week to play, which is why i don't feel like learning all new hitting and pitching interfaces.
  16. If they don't, at the very least, trade Ersan in the next 10 days, I will give up as a Bucks fan until Kohl sells the team. i agree his recent play has increased his trade value and he has already said he wants to play in turkey next season anyway. i think jackson is gone as well. i think udrich is another option since i don't see the bucks using him the way he wants to. basically besides bogut, everyone should be expendible. (i know bogut is injury prone but they could never get fair market value for him)
  17. i have read that one before too,i know its a bunch of stories i have heard before, but noone tells stories like ueck. i wish i could find that book to reread it.
  18. great win tonight. alot to still be worried about the team. jennings started off on fire and i knew he was done passing for the night and pretty much was. i think a couple of moves over the next week and a half would keep my interest for the rest of the season. if not that its watching the kids like sanders and harris.
  19. i do like the blue jays going retro, i do hope at some point the brewers bring back the ball and glove logo as their primary one, but i know it would be tough
  20. hmmm, id take Braun. i think the offseason has motivated him and he will put up big numbers, #2 miggy. i wouldnt touch albert until the 5 or 6 pick.
  21. it has been ordered, i'll put that as #1 to read still getting the extra 2% but i doubt i will have enough time to read 4 baseball books on my flight there and back, but im bringing all 4
  22. pius goes to the semi's tonight in D2, i am one happy alum. i would love to see the boys get to madison since the program is known mostly for the girls program and i think joel claussen is an awesome coach and person.
  23. yes i have, i ordered nine innings and ball four for the plane ride, thanks edit: the numbers game was 5.56 on amazon so i got that one too
  24. i'm leaving on a business trip in 2 weeks to phoenix. it will be awesome because i am staying the weekend and will get to see 2 games in maryvalle. anyway i want to pick up a baseball book for the plane trip. i am thinking about the extra 2%, but was just wondering what was everyone's on this sites favorite baseball book. i have already read hardball and baseaball between the numbers as well as this years baseball prospectus and prospect handbook.
  25. yeah 10K means it would be hard to get one, if i could get one for around 20 id pick it up.
