    the logical part of me wants the MNF game to be inconsequential so it can just be cancelled and the playoffs begin. Although I wouldn't mind have Goodell actually have to earn some of his salary and figure out how to settle the chaos that a make-up game would entail.

    remember they used a prospect from this trade to get their starting catcher, so obviously catcher would have been addressed another. Also, he would have just been traded this offseason and probably for a smaller package. His arby estimate is 13.6MM, which I think the brewers could have paid, but obviously he was always going to be a challenge to sign after 2023.

    That is a good suggestion. I also messaged the brewers to see if they would do a charitable donation for this I will also send an email to both to see if I can purchase leftovers from the clubhouse sale. Thanks Laura!

    I have been volunteered to put together a brewers themed gift basket for my kid’s school fundraiser. Does anyone have ideas on how to get stuff that’s relatively inexpensive that people would actually want to buy raffle tickets for. I wish I would have been told this a month ago and I could have went to the brewers garage sale.

    I think the point is moot. He hasn't pitched in 1.5 seasons, and I don't think Milwaukee is on his top list of destinations. I'll leave his baggage out of the equation and just say I don't think it makes sense for either party.

    Exactly. I figure out long ago that you really can’t praise or criticize an offseason until March 1st. Sometimes unpopular moves set up moves that are widely praised and vice versa. Also MLB offseason, is the only one of the major 3 that top free agents do not scooped up immediately, and then the lesser FA’s sign after that.

    Brosseau as the backup corner IF and Miller as the backup middle IF, isn’t that bad of a plan.

    You don’t need to spend money on FA to have a good offseason, and if you can address needs not giving out huge FA bucks, huge bonus. I think they have had a pretty decent first month of the offseason.

    It’s not uncommon for players to be upset when traded. He was more public than normal. Let him meet his new teammates and see the city and he may lighten up. Also he may be excited about being in the same division as his brother.

    This does make the hader trade look better. Obviously Ruiz is Thought of higher by some GM’s (or atleast 1) than a lot of people here.

    Wilson should the best play but wasn’t used last week. If Samuel or burks are healthy I’ll probably go that route.

    Final week and I need some help to get into the playoffs: who should I flex: Rachaad White, Jeff Wilson, Debo Samual, Treylon Burks, or James Cook. Thinking Cook. White would be a good option if he wasn’t facing SF, WIlson had 1 Cary last week, Samual and Burks are hurt.

    Its normally a good sign that your team passes in the rule V draft, I think think that is the likest option, but I could see them taking a pass at Kelly at 18 this afternoon.
