  1. Can start tonight. This will bring new meaning to the term March Madness.
  2. maybe this isn't the perfect spot for this but, saw this this AM. https://www.fox6now.com/sports/indoor-golf-american-family-field-brewers-x-golf-america again its hard to plead poor when you are putting indoor simulated driving ranges inside your stadium.
  3. take it for what its worth seems like they just punted the football
  4. this is all hindsight. if you think a QB is much better you do what you can to get him. its a qb driven league. He was wrong and paid with his job. thats how things should be.
  5. being able to tag users is huge too.
  6. rumors are that they are going to go after Jimmy G. If i was the colts owner I'd fire their GM immediately. He gave away a 1st for 1 year of Wentz and did even go to the playoffs and all he got back was a swap of 2's and 2 3's.
  7. I said this before, but anyone one of us could get a A or B draft by simply drafting based on the Expects rankings. Teams that get lower grades, only get them because the GM and the "expect" disagree on a players value. The only difference is that GM's get fired for messing up their draft and the experts suffer no consequences. Draft season is fun. Its fun to read mock drafts and use the sites now that let you have your own mock draft, but at the end of the day, we are only going with a small fraction of the intelligence and scouting that the teams have.
  8. What I am seeing online is that the general feeling is the return was light. I think it was a good trade for Seattle. I would think they would have preferred more picks than players since they are clearly rebuilding. While i am happy that Rodgers is back, i wouldn't have been too upset with that move. Would have hoped for another 1st instead of Harris/Lock.
  9. so if the cost is 15-20 dollars a month. I could keep sling for 50. yes its a pain to have 2 streaming services, but direct TV stream is 95, so it would be a 25-30 dollars a month savings. (i already pay for disney plus, hbo max, netflix and hulu, so whats another one anyway). I would be interested to see if it is easy and possible to cancel after brewers season or if a 1-2 year commitment is required.
  10. I love Olave and London, but I think the combine elevated them to the point that they won't be around at 28.
  11. Just asking, if they get an eight seed, they would play a 1 in the second round. Is there a potential one-seed that you think Marquette matches up best with? If they were a 7, is there a two you would like to see? I think of the potential #1 seeds, probably Kansas is the best matchup for them and Gonzaga probably the worst. Obviously teams are #1 seeds for a reason so there isn't a great answer to that question. Right now ESPN has Marquette as a 7. As far as 2's, i'd love a chance to take out Duke as a 2, but I think Kentucky is probably Marquette's best potential opponent. (I think UW is a 2, and Marquette will not play them in the first 2 rounds since they played in the regular season).
  12. all of this talk about McMahon vs McAffee, i do think Graves vs McAffee does make ALOT of sense.
  13. with what? Its why I stay away from the blogosphere unless one can argue that the packers would be better off with cooper than adams. If they do let Rodgers and Adams walk, there is no point to pay top dollar for Cooper either.
  14. espn updated their projections and now has MU as a 8, which i can't argue with. Like you and I said, a win tomorrow should help them greatly.
  15. rumor is that it will be his developmental brand to compete with NXT. I read something that he was nearing an agreement with HBO max. I wonder if that is where ROH will be shown.
  16. Didn't get to watch them last night, but very disappointing results last. Obviously it is imperative to beat the Johnnies Saturday night. Right now their Kenpom fell to 41 after loosing last night, which isn't good. Not exactly on the bubble, but ending their regular season with a loss and loosing their first tournament game would really put MU in a tight spot.
  17. I agree on GB, they are really the only game in town once conference season starts. UWM is in a tight spot. They play in a off-site arena. Gets no support from Alumni and Students at the games. Is clearly 2nd fiddle to MU and plays across the street from a NBA team as well. Also there are fans who think UWM can bring back the glory days of Bruce Pearl and that is simply not realistic. I do think its not unreasonable every few years to be an AQ for the tournament. Looking at the Horizon, they have lost teams like Butler, Loyola, and Valpo and replaced them with Robert Morris, Oakland, UIPUI, and Purdue - Fort Wayne. I agree, on that with the conference in its current state, they should be in the upper echelon. All of the teams that have been over the last decade or so have bolted.
  18. Pat Baldwin Sr fired at UWM. Bringing in his son has to be classified a disaster. I thought there was a chance he could get UWM back into the tournament and they ended up winning only 10 games. I think along with the basketball coach their AD needs to go too. She fired Jeter and they haven't been relevant since. Now Jr will sure go to the pro's and be a mid 1st round pick, even though he was projected to go much earlier last fall and UWM is in shambles.
  19. visiting Twin's Daily makes me excited for the upcoming changes.
  20. ESPN has had Marquette as a stable 7 for the last couple updates. Their final 2 are pretty winnable. That would give them 20 wins, 12 in conference going into the tournament. Very good opportunity to move up a little bit. Also it looks like MU is slated for the 4-5 game against Creighton to start the tournament.
  21. the 2024 draft is down to GB, Detroit or Washington DC. Obviously their really isn't a better setup to host a draft than GB. I could see Washington get it and have it at the National Mall or something. I can't see what would be so attractive about Detroit though.
  22. wont be week 16, the plan is to give the team a bye the week after the trip. Don't they normally get all of their oversees games in before the weather goes south
  23. i guess it isn't a huge deal since they would lose their extra 9th home game, but its tough to lose one, after having to play KC in the 17th game on the road this last season.
  24. i use fanspeak, i just tried this one for the first time and I think i like it better. The trade offers i got were ridiculous though.
  25. Looks like Jevon Carter is the player they will sign to meet the minimum roster size.
