I guess I just don't get the bashing of today's lineup. It's a day game after a night game; team has some injuries; we're going against a pitcher with a 4.61 ERA; we have our hottest starting pitching on the mound; and baseball players are not robots, most need a game off here and there.

 

No team in baseball puts their "ideal" line-up out there every day. Deal with it.

I don't think anybody is bashing the line-up, per se. Nobody is specifically saying that any of the regulars shouldn't be on the bench right now. We're just confident enough that we'll win with this lineup...actually, it's been years we can put this sort of lineup out there and still believe we'll win...so we make light of it.
