I'm not all that impressed with either USC or KSU - I think UW could handle either one of them unless they got wicked hot from beyond the arc.

If they wouldnt have had that awful turnover they would have gotten a much better shot to win it than that.

That half court shot was good though, perfect length, just a little left

Nuts. A first-round Duke loss would have been sweet, and would have obliterated any media attention on any other first round upset. Not that I specifically expect Wisconsin to be a first round upset.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

In my Seinfeld voice when talking to Newman....."Duke".

Has anybody else been watching all of the games online at CBS Sports? I could've dropped some $$ to buy it from DirecTV, but it's totally free online. I love it.

Badgers are playing a little too fast right now. I think they need to slow things down.

They need to get their heads our of their behinds. They are lucky to be up a point as they are on a 70 point pace. I get the same feeling I had watching them in the first round last year...and it isnt good.

I'm watching.

I'd just like to say one thing--I've watched half of the games this year and I don't think Hughes should ever shoot the ball. I don't think I've seen him make anything but free throws all year.

Last five minutes is more like it....

On the other hand, Krabbenhoft has a beautiful shot. Steimsma took a 15 footer that it looked like he shot-put.

Lead down to 4 again, and we turn it over...again.

Cripes!!! Is the Big Ten really that bad that no other team could run against the Badgers? These midgets are going right down the lane for dunks and layups!

I just couldn't convince myself that Belmont was going to win that game. Duke just has some weird mojo, and they invariably win games like that. But I don't see them going beyond the Sweet Sixteen.

You have to think Fullerton is going to get overwhelmed by the rebounding margin/inside play, unless they can do some crazy run-and-gun stuff and just wear down Bucky (which I don't see happening).

And how good a (college) coach is Lon Kruger? Guy has taken 4 different schools to the tourney, and UNLV won again today.

I know it's only a half and he's probably antsy, but Flowers has looked real bad. He keeps trying to push it everytime, and some other players have been getting sucked into Fullerton's tempo, too. Wisconsin's probably at their season average for turnovers. What a crappy half so far.

Darnit, watching the replays of that Belmont inbound really bother me. They had a fine outside presence all game, I wish they would've tried that instead of a lob in the lane that wasn't there.

Edit-sorry, I had no idea that variations of "damn" were filtered. Sometimes you just never know.

I chalk the first half up to adrenaline. They'll settle down in the second half.

Flowers was way too pumped up. Butch and Landry were pretty calm, but the guards need to get settled down. Just take it easy in the second half and they'll be fine.
