Some solid ABs by the Tigers that inning...Inge, Granderson and Infante. They made Sheets work that inning. He got through it, but that was some good battling to watch.

that's about as far as he can hit a ball - too bad we are playing in Detroit, that's probably a HR in at least 1/2 the parks

Didnt Chris Bosio have some crazy streak like that? Back in 1992 or was it Cal Eldred in 92??

I think Moose Haas actually threw three shutouts in a row back in the early 80's, but I'm not positive. I know his streak of scoreless innings was in the 20s.

It seems like on the batting side, some of those basic fundamentals (getting the runner over, etc.) are starting to return. That should help them get hot again. At least I hope so.

Durbin sure got out of there quickly. 8 freaking hits and a couple walks and only 2 runs to show for it. But hey, if that's all we need, I'll take it.
