What are your favorite baseball blogs?

Or your favorite baseball websites. I love BRef and of course BF.net. Just want to know peoples tastes are around here. Don't be afraid to post popular sites and definitely include the obscure ones.

The "Issues & Events" forum has a thread stickied that addresses the OP's question, to a degree.

I'll mention Ducksnorts.com (SD Padres focus) & Knucklecurve.com (general MLB), both by Geoff Young. The guy does his research, and writes very well.

Oh, and I know I already pimped this one, but I still can't get enough of it: The Disabled List Informer

This last one is easily my favorite MLB blog. The guy's very active, responsive, & knowledgeable. Do not miss the DL Informer!

Firejoemorgan.com is my personal favorite. I've come to like Al's Ramblings a lot too.

That's about it for me.

I'll second this one, even though it's more often about things that aren't baseball. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

If it weren't for Bugs and Cranks, I never would have learned how to perform "the surgery" on my 5950 hats.

Note: I lucked out and found a guy on Ebay that had some of the old 100% wool 5950's in stock, so I snatched up a Brewers one. Fits like a glove. Wearing it to Wrigley this afternoon.

am I not cool enough because I don't read blogs? I barely have enough time to read the sites that I visit regularly as it is!

I've thought about starting a blog regarding our Diamond Mind baseball league but I figured who would want to read about imaginary games and imaginary interviews conducted by some guys you have never heard of.

Oh yeah I forgot about that site, another great. If I had not discovered that site I would have probably never worn my retro Beloit Snappers hat again. Once I did the surgery it fit looser again and it didn't look dumb. Since you can't find the Brewers 1970-77 hat in the "franchise" style and only the 5950 I might actually buy it because I can do the surgery to it and it will look okay.

The Dugout is pretty good and entertaining. And the newest one is on Eric Gagne.

"Ow, my career." http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

If Gagne keeps up like on Monday, that line will obviously sting more, but tonight it's funny.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I rarely read any blogs regardless the topic, but after seeing firejoemorgan mentioned so much, i finally gave it a try after it was linked in the Dusty Baker thread. The stuff they wrote about Baker was pretty damn funny. I just never get interested enough to regularly read any single blog. I'll read one and even if it was interesting or funny, i forget about it for long stretches.

It's amazing to me how many blogs exist out there on so many topics, i wonder who reads all these things.
