we need some runs here.

Hmm. Is it possible that Gwynn, as hot as he has been, isn't God?

To his credit, that wasn't a bad AB, but you hate to see him go down looking after working a 10 pitch AB with 2 runners in scoring position.

He does not have a hit today but has had 3 good AB's working counts.

i am just shocked we can't score with tGj and craiger with a man on third and one out. I would be willing to bet that we get that run in at least 25 percent of the time.

That was a waste...2 huge insurance runs in scoring position with 1 out and the top of the order up, and couldn't cash in. Frustrating.

It's time for MY knee-jerk reaction based on a very small sample size:

Tony Gwynn Jr. sucks; Gabe Gross is awesome.

Yeah Sheets, if you don't go 9 IP with 1 ER at this point you obviously aren't an ace because an ace would find a way.

I'm watching this on MLB.TV and TG Jr. had 3 pretty darn good AB's today even though the box score shows an 0-3. It's reminding me of what a leadoff hitter should do. It's reminiscent of Podsednik back in the day when he was good for us.

One more things baseball gods... please let one of the following two things be true: 1) Gabe Gross gets 2+ hits today or 2) Gabe Gross does not come back to Milwaukee with the Brewers. That's not too much to ask, is it?

#1 granted and then some

If Gross would have done that today instead of Gwynn, everyone would be demanding he go down to AAA.
