4/29/08 Brewers (Sheets) at Cubs (Marquis): 7:05 PM CDT

[HighLifeandPeanuts]

YES BIG MAN! (and little man)

[HurricaneBraun]

Nice Hardy!

[mastershake76]

Counsell hits a HR or two every year, right? Now's as good a time as any.

[dlk9s]

So, McClung in the 8th, Turnbow in the 9th?

[HighLifeandPeanuts]

shut up and build a bullpen

[trwi7]

For the record before he comes in. Mota scares the hell out of me with all of his walks and the middle of the Cubs order coming up.

[brewers19]

This offense is glorious.

[HighLifeandPeanuts]

god wrigley is extra annoying tonight

[mastershake76]

So, McClung in the 8th, Turnbow in the 9th?

No. Veto.

(do we get veto power here?)

[SeriesFinale]

God I can hear that drunk blonde behind home-plate ranting from here

[Marc Newfield of Dreams]

Soto brought that ball down about 6 inches.... enough to fool all of Wrigley and Bill Schroeder.

[HighLifeandPeanuts]

I vote for Stetter, wait, has he pitched yet?

[endaround]

Bill has his hat pulled in front of his eyes of he though the pitch at Counsell;s arm pit was a strike

[adambr2]

Yeah, Bill loves to say that he's not sure where one missed when he knows damn well where it missed. Look at it, Bill. It certainly wasn't high, or low, or inside. Pretty close to the outside corner, though. Could that be it? Yes, I'll take Outside for $200, Alex.

[dlk9s]

Bob Uecker is awesome.

On ball 3 to Counsell, the Cubs fans boo like crazy and he says, "99% of these fans can't see the plate."

[bucksbeat]

Man.. I hate everything about Chicago.

[dlk9s]

Ok bullpen: 6 outs before 3 runs. Thanks.

[HighLifeandPeanuts]

I wish I got reception in my basement, I'd be listening to Uecker while I watch this one, I'm usually not so annoyed by Schroeder but he's been just as bad as the cubs fans tonight.

[mastershake76]

Man.. I hate everything about Chicago.

Hey, man, my wife's family lives in Chicago. So...me too.

[theavrock]

I vote for Stetter, wait, has he pitched yet?

No he warmed in the 5th but didnt come in yet.

[trwi7]

Ok bullpen: 6 outs before 3 runs. Thanks.

Haha, never heard it put that way before. Makes it sound so easy when it's really, really hard.

[bacon06]

None of the 7 batters Sheets walked scored? Since when did he turn into Claudio Vargas?

[And That]

17 hits and we're only up by 3. Pff.

[endaround]

If Fukudome gets up we better see shouse

[mastershake76]

No, no, Mota, no. Please do not fall behind every hitter tonight.
