I have been in favor of having Carlos in the bullpen. But Brettac makes a good point about garbage time. CV won't get the benefit of pitching in the majors unless he has important role which gives him predictable work.

yeah. Call down Villy and bring up Jose C... it looks like that is more reasonable at this point. Dessens can be our long man and Jose can pitch multiple innings if needed.

Haha, I only saw the out on gameday and I assumed that it was as ugly as Hall's first 3 outs.

Well I feel a little better about Hall after today. He had a drive down the left field line that was just foul and then had a hit up the middle but Eckstein made a great play. I know it was just a foul ball and a fielders choice, but they looked encouraging at least.
