The Brewers are playing the Los Angeles Angels today in an exhibition game at Maryvale Baseball Park. Here is their starting lineup:

 

2B Rickie Weeks

SS J.J. Hardy

1B Prince Fielder

CF Billy Hall

C Johnny Estrada

LF Geoff Jenkins

RF Corey Hart

3B Ryan Braun

RHP Jeff Suppan

 

Brewers fans might want to commit that lineup to memory. With the possible exception of Braun and Suppan, it has a good chance to be the opening day lineup. Right-hander Ben Sheets is expected to start the opener April 2 vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers.

I would say that could be the lineup minus only Suppan and adding Sheets. Really know way of telling what Ned and Doug plan to do with Braun yet.

Man i really really hope that at some point maybe in July that will be the lineup. I am really hopefull that Braun will be up by then! I am also hoping that jenkins bounces back. I have a feeling that going in to his contract year he will be better!

 

Edit: Good first inning!!! Would love to see that alot in the regular season. Come on Crew lets heat up those bats this game!!!!

All i know is that there are some tough decisons! What do i do? Listen to the brewer's game? Watch the NCAA'S on the TV or watch them on the computer. Kind of a good day to have no class! I love spring!

Not what I wanted to see out of him this spring. I was hoping for seeing spectacular diving plays on the evening news, but all I have seen is what, 3-4 throwing errors?

 

It might be a May 1st call up at the earliest, which might help him get the rust off and figure out his throwing mechanics. Plus also help with the free agency clock issues.

 

I hope his elbow isn't still bothering him.
