I know the game's been over for a while, but in Bill Hall's defense, the sun and sky of Arizona in March is very difficult to read and much different than what you get anywhere else.

the March sky is similar to in the Fall League, and it can be awful. The DRays' Fernando Perez might be the best defensive CF I've seen in person, and even he struggled mightily with some balls. He's also likely the biggest intellectual I met in the AFL.
