I don't remember hanging on an update from Gameday with as much anticipation as I was the called strike 3.

 

Nice managing, Ned. Now let's get some insurance (and a save for el Cappy).

Edit: I must not have made myself clear. Two outs on two pitches is not what I was looking for.

 

2nd edit: My bad. Gameday wasn't caught up and I thought Prince also made an out on the first pitch.

I love lead-off hits. If we can knock in just one run, I'll be happy.

 

Why is Ball Hall bunting? For some reason, I imagine him being more successful swinging the bat.

Here's what I don't think is so special (walk-offs excluded) about our "well we have 24 come from behind victories this year"...

 

We scored in the 1st, meaning Detroit was playing a "come from behind game"

 

Detroit led in the 2nd, meaning we were playing a "come from behind game"

 

Pretty much all teams, every day, each game play where you can frame a W as a "come from behind" win.

 

I'd much rather like to see the stat about "runaway games"... score some, don't look back, keep scoring... doesn't seem we get enough of those.

Yeah, remember when I said scoring an extra run would be nice?

 

I guess by that I meant that I wanted the next three batters to pop out. That's cool, too.
