Yes! I love this thing. Of course, now I will become completely unproductive and lose all my friends after making them watch zebras drink water for twenty minutes.

The waiting... is the hardest part...

I really love this website/cam as well. It's a really, really cool method by which to capture some amazing wildlife.

ive got warthogs on there right now
Yeah, I saw that....but is it really "wildlife"? When the cameral panned up for a second from the warthogs, it looked like there was some sort of stable or something, like it was a ranch of some sort. It also appears that the warthogs are eating something that was placed there by a human.

Patrick, I think that's the lodge/place where "safaris" begin.

ahh, I see.

I don't have the patience to watch that and whoever is manning the camera is really anoying. Can you pan a little faster? I just want to take over the camera and do it myself.

edit: I left the window open on my PC and just went back to it. They are zeroing in on a bird? Really? A bird? Let me know when the lions and tigers show up.

It is a big waiting game and can get boring real quick.

Well if you're waiting for tigers you're going to be waiting for a really long time. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

it is a waiting game indeed. You must show patience with that site and camera. Just when you want to give up, something interesting does show up and you'll kick yourself for missing it.

It's kind of like staying up really late during a woot-off. You know you want to go to sleep, but the minute you go to bed, a BOC or something really cool shows up and you miss it, so you stay up even longer.

Or like playing any of the Civilization games.

Oh, and by the way, thanks for reminding my wife about the Africam. She hadn't visited in nearly 6 months and was actually starting to show signs of productivity. That's shot now. Maybe she'll get off her "webkins" habit now. I can only hope.

I'm not sure exactly what you heard. When I connected to the sight, I heard a deep bellowing noise, which might be a lion or elephant. The whooshing noise I'm hearing right now sounds like wind blowing across the microphone.
