A little tip for the out of town DirecTV folks like myself. We've got the Mets out here in LA, but you can catch the game on channel 425 or 624 (Fox Sports Espanol) in Spanish. Beisbol de las Grandes Ligas has the Brewers v. Phillies. You may need the "Sports Pack" to get it, but for those that get FSN-WI, you should have it.

We're 1-0 as the Cerveceros...maybe this (and extra day of rest for Manny) will help!!!

I gotta admit this is some handy advice. I'm both an MLB Extra Innings and Sports Pack subscriber. My local Fox is showing Mets/Braves, so I figured I was definitely blacked out. If what you are telling me is true I'll be one happy camper.

I've caught the Cubs a couple times this year in Spanish, so unless Fox has figured out the loophole...we should be good. For those on DISH or Cable, try and search for Fox Sports Espanol. I'm not sure what package it takes to get it, but it's worth a look.

Prediction - Brewers shorten up their strokes against the tough Hamels and the bats wake up. Brewers win, 6-4, split the DH tomorrow and leave Philly up 4 on both the Phils and Stros with 12 to play. All of Milwaukee breathes out.

As predicted in the vent thread, the Brewers always save their most embarrassing performances for Saturday on FOX. Other than hoping for the miraclulous, one of the few reasons for sticking around is to see Ned finally blow a gasket, probably when the Brewers finally string two hits together in an inning and have a chance to get back to within 2 runs.

Maybe there is something to that innings limit cap after all. Manny hasn't looked very good lately.

and the inning finally comes to an end.

I can't watch but Manny sure sounds like he has a tired arm/no confidence/poor attitude/all of the above today.

The Brewers had about a 2% chance of winning a game in this series. They have about 6% chance of winning a game on the roadtrip, and about .75% chance of scoring more than five runs in a game. How about those odds?
