Those things tend to happen to us in Chicago. I feel it necessary to bust out my new avatar showcasing another case of strike zone fail.

 

Lets just hope that Counsell-Kendall-PH isn't the lineup we have facing Wood in the 9th.

I really want the Cubs to lose in the first round. If I could receive a guarantee that that would occur, I'd have a hard time not giving up the last chance the Brewers have to make the wildcard. I'm that bitter. And I don't care.

I remember that game, sadly. I think I was even the one to post that Gameday screen cap. I still remember Yost letting Kevin Mench hit with the bases loaded in the the 9th against a righty and leaving Jenkins on the bench. Talk about vintage Yost.
