pitch count by inning for Santana 4 days ago:

 

19, 20, 13, 12, 6, 16, 15, 24 = 125

 

He made it through 8 innings because of that vacation in the 4th & 5th.

 

 

Fish need to link three 20+ pitch innings together to really exhaust Johan.

Here's what's going to happen:

 

Mets sprinkle a run or two in a few of the early innings, going up 4-1 by the 5th. Santana runs into trouble in the 6th, but only gives up one run, 4-2. In the 7th, the Marlins break out the bats and score 3, taking the lead, but the Mets answer with one in the bottom. So the 8th inning starts at 5-5, just as the Brewers are getting underway.

 

And that's all I can say at this point. I'll have to wait for another message. A message from myself.
