I hope the Brewers sent Yovani Gallardo home early. I'm sure nobody is thrilled with the 1pm start tomorrow -- I don't see why they couldn't have pushed it back until 3 or 4pm?

Interesting stuff is actually being discussed on an ESPN broadcast. Amazing what a broadcast without Joe Morgan can be like.

Unfortunately, Joe Mauer looks like he's going to hit .500 this season. Any doubt he'll be the AL player of the month?

I'm fine with what Cam Boogie did with that high one. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Too bad Prince hit into that double play right before that...would've been sweet to have the lead right now.

Congrats to Cam on #250.

Nice job with the Cambomb, Mike. Welcome to the 250/250 club.

why does Gerut as the DH make you puke, when Bill Hall is in the lineup instead vs a RHP? that doesn't make any sense to me.... Gerut's bat over Hall's bat more than makes up for Gamel's D vs Hall's D i would think

Why is it so hard to take some pitches?

I assume the scouting report says to attack Baker early in the count, since he's probably throwing a strike.

Bill Hall is the girl you dump and then continue to hook up with and after you do feel worse and wonder why the heck you did. Then a month later you see her and think about all the "good" stuff she did and you repeat the process from before. If that doesnt work for you, just think of Hall's career as the definition of insanity. They keep putting him out there over and over hoping for different results but continue to get the same results.

Is ESPN trying to set the record for replays of a HR in a single game? Seriously what's the over / under on how many times they replay the Mauer homer tonight? 20? 30? 50 times???

This reminds me of the Red Sox series last year. They just seem lost. Hopefully they respond as well as they did after that last year.
Yup, just something about American League parks. I mean this game is not over, but the way our offense has looked getting a few more runs looks like a feat in itself.

I agree, but at least they were hitting in Boston. The offense, or at least the lineups, has been maddening this weekend.

We could use a big time momentum play. Clutch DP or a guy gunned down at the plate. Great defense has keyed a bunch of rallies so far this year.
