I'm getting angrier the more I think about the ump capitulating to Gardenhire and Macha capitulating to the ump

Ridiculous--talk about changing the scope of the game

I've never seen an ump get berated, with a cap throw, and then reverse a call and not throw the guy out for showing him up.

What a spineless POS.

Yeah that was a first. That just never happens. But of course it happened against the Brewers in this crap stadium in Minnesota in the series from hell 2009.

Twins got hot and beat a better team 3 games at home, cant' lose sleep over it. Saddest part is that the Twins threw 2 mediocre pitchers at us this series and we couldn't hit them at all because the offense went cold.

Macha needs to either get hot or send Willie Randolph out there to get in the face of the ump. It's unacceptable in that situation for a manager to have a mild mannered conversation, you need to fire up your team, especially when a call is reversed out of thin air.

To me Macha needed to copy the Minor League manager that crawled around and threw grenades.

Ridiculous.

We haven't taken any pitches this entire series. Two of the games were against scrub pitchers. I don't know if it's the dome or what, but the team is completely out of it's element at the plate.

Meaningless stat that sucks...

Including today, the Twins have scored 43 runs in the last 4 games. That's just over 18% of their runs for the year.

Bill Hall is now 7-56 in the month of May for a staggering BA of .125! Sucks that Weeks and Hardy are down
Losing Bill Hall may be better than any trade the Brewers could make.

In blue...but it may be true.

Position-by-position I think that's a higly debateable proposition, as we've debated on this board before.

I think this is just a picture of what life is going to be like without Rickie.

Every little nick and scratch is going to hurt... a lot.

I agree JCrew.

Add in the Hardy situation and the this is a lineup that s almost unrecognizable in some ways. You don't want to be counting on Hall, Counsell and McGehee too much, and certainly not every day. I think Gamel will be good, but he is still shy of 20 ML ABs.

Thats is fine, I disagree completely as I think the Twins are a .500 team but they have home field advantage in a park that we never seem to play well in and most importatnly they are the hottest they have been all year and we couldn't buy a hit with RISP all series. These types of series are going to happen and you cant' read anything at all into them.
