The sad thing is we are really making Baker look good tonight. He is throwing a bunch of very hittable pitches. Fastballs right down the middle, hanging curve balls, etc and we swing right through them or pop them up.

If Hall starts at 3B tomorrow I am going to be ticked. He has looked awful once again tonight.
I'd be willing to bet that Hall is only playing because Hardy's hurting, otherwise one of Counsell or McGehee would be playing third. Macha said he doesn't think Hardy's going to play tomorrow, either, but at least Gamel won't be tied into the DH role.

As far as not being able to do much against Baker, he's still a good pitcher. ESPN showed graphics multiple times tonight explaining how his rough start has been do to running into one really bad inning in each of his starts, but he's been fine other than those innings. He's the same guy who went something like 11-4 with a mid-3 ERA last year in the AL -- I wouldn't put it at the same level of frustration as the Swarzak start, but maybe that's just me. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Like Russ said, still plenty of time to steal this one if they can keep the Twins from tacking on anymore runs.

How did Gardenhire not get thrown out there? This is ridiculousness. Macha needs to be more upset than that. If this were Nedly, it would be time for a 360 spin.

So this is what it feels like to come back to earth, huh.

Blah. Lets get home, get JJ healthy and get back on the right track. That one stings, badly.

Classic. I'm betting the bus breaks down on teh way to the airport and then there is something wrong with the charter when they finally get there. The Brewers roll inot Milwaukee at 9:30 a.m. and get no hit tomorrow, with some guys nearly nodding off during an AB.

That hit all knob...talk about not getting breaks. Bad call on a Mauer and then a grand slam....Wow!! Sorry...I'm angry.

Just one of those series where nothing goes right. At least the Brewers will never have to play in that atrocity again. Let's hope this offensive funk doesn't carry over to the homestand.

We seem to be heading that direction. Good God, get this team out of the state of Minnesota. It's a darn curse.

Jesus, we ran straight into a buzzsaw this weekend. Gotta get it together for the homestand.

Can we put in Julio to plunk the ump?
