I thought he was safe at first, but the full speed replays are not a lot of help...why do they do that?

Hello, two game lead. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Good to get the series win before having to face Tommy Hanson tomorrow. Hopefully they can rough him up and jump on any nervousness he might have, but at least they'll have an excuse if they struggle.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with Cam and the bump. I watched it in slow motion and the first bit of contact seemed pretty incidental, but there was a second bump that was completely the ump bumping Cam, and the ump immediately started yelling that Cam bumped him after that. Cam wasn't even moving, the ump leaned into him.

Anyone think Hall was put in CF in part to gradually get him back to a supersub role? Not that he'll play a ton all over like he did 4-5 years ago, but Macha might start sprinkling him in the game at different positions as Gamel likely seizes the everyday job at third.

I don't think Hall sees the light of day in the outfield if Macha didn't already use Gerut as a pinch-hitter. If he used Cat earlier instead of Gerut, I think Hall stays at third. I don't think Macha is thinking about using him in the outfield, unless Gerut is on his way out (and it'd be a little early to assume that, based on Melvin's history).

We had to follow this game from the car radio tonight, but that's easier when it's a win.

I'd suppose that Atlanta fans might be kind of depressed lately, having not scored in so long (despite chances). Imagine if they were, somehow, shut out Sunday. That would really be disheartening.

Don't let up, Brewers.

We could help the Braves out and bring back Yost for tomorrow. Since we won 2 of 3 and it's a Sunday afternoon game, it'd be time for the "Give Away Lineup" featuring the 2008 version of Counsell, Dillon, Gwynn, and I am obviously forgetting someone.

When Mike Rivera appeared in 2008 lineups, some posters took that as a sign of a JV lineup. Maybe that's the someone?

Well, we were 15 - 12 (.555 win %) on Sundays with our "give-up" lineup in 2008. I think to much is made of the whole thing.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Especially since I believe Parra is supposed to go tomorrow. Nothing would be more disheartening than not being to score off a guy who gave up 10 runs in his last start, costing your super prospect a win in his debut.

To me, that sounds like fun. Let's do it, Brewers. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Yeah, that was actually why I made the previous post. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif The matchup doesn't look fully promising on paper, but they don't play the games on paper.

Ironic that you post this today because these three players reached base a combined 10 times today.
