On a side note, I like Karros' commentary so far. Pretty astute observations on Parra right there, and he seemed to know a lot when Telly interviewed him last night.

I'm sorry but this is a dumb statement. One game doesn't prove poop to the nation or anyone else. It's another game in June and maybe a few more people are seeing it.

That's a little harsh, IMO...Hendrickson was a junkballer who couldn't get guys out. Parra's got good stuff but can't control it. Jorge de la Rosa seems like a better comparison to me.

I'd think they have to send him down after today, that is 4 brutal games in a row now.

 

Hendrickson never put up good stats even in the minors, he just had a flukey low ERA one season. Pretty different situation. Parra also had success in the majors before this year which little Ben never did.

It has been interesting to see how Eric Karros has basically been calling out Parra this entire game on not having the mental toughness to pitch well on a consistent basis. This is a pretty brutal outing thus far for Parra.

Tim Dillard is pitching for Nashville today. I gotta figure he'll be icing his arm on the plane ride to Milwaukee tonight.

Yea, you are right. I'm just fustrated with him. Have (had) high expectations for him to really step in to a key role this year. Espically with his age and the years that we have him under control. Guys like this are keys to keeping things rolling and not having to dip into the FA market for starters.

I dont understand Parra was not pulled before Konerko. Smith appeared to be ready. Those 2 extra runs makes the lead so much bigger!
