Completely non-chalant and unaccaptable. Get bent McGehee. That's about as awful as it gets.

well, that was splenid. Three-run lead with the Mets pretty much in a daze to 1-run lead and the Mets gaining momentum.

Two hands on those, kids. That's what they teach you.

Milwaukee: 47 hits, 3 runs

NY Mets: One dropped pop-up, 2 runs

This is one of the most frustrating games of the year. The Mets are practically fielding a AAA team, and, and, and .... ah why bother?

Well, you can thank Brad Fischer for that one. We would've had Fielder up with the bases loaded there, so who knows what would've happened. But, I still agree with you.
Actually, I blame Braun for not being able to hit a Dessens fastball far enough into the outfield to get the runner in from third. Weak piece of htting by Ryan.

And now the double plays and wasted opportunities are coming back to haunt us. Wonderful work, Brewers. Every aspect of this Mets team tonight is Junior Varsity, and we've got a one run game on our hands at home. SCORE MORE RUNS, PLEASE.

as JJ strode to the plate, I told my wife, "the only way JJ gets a triple is if it skips by an outfielder that falls down."

I was so close in my prediction. Darn left shoulder of the centerfielder got in the way.

Well, you still shouldn't have dropped that pop up, Casey. I'll look the other way this time, though.
