It's not easy to watch Zaun at the plate right now.

I thought he was supposed to have some pop in his bat. So far he is a switch hitting version of Jason Kendall.

Time for Yo's first good start of the year.

What's wrong with 7 innings, 3 ER against the Rockies offense?

Nothing wrong with it--it's a good start for a "normal" pitcher, but not one of Yo's best. Unfortunately, he isn't looking sharp today either.

Yo just can't throw an off-speed pitch for a strike.

Edit: Just as I say that, he gets Guzman with his best one of the night.

Prince is doing so well right now.

Coming into the game he has an obp of .415 and an ops of .797.

 

Granted he hasn't been great but if he is doing poorly with those numbers we are in good shape.
