Can home plate umps stop calling check swing's, they have the worst angle of any umpire on the field, not that they aren't right, or the ump may not have been right in this case.

Escobar's bone head throws are getting more annoying by the day. How can he throw entirely across his body going the wrong way and it be a perfect strike, then have all the time in the world and bury one in the dirt to Prince? Fielder has never been a great digger of balls in the dirt, but my goodness... that's the one thing I really liked about Hardy, he threw a perfect strike over to 1B 99% of the time.

Has that ever happened? As a freshman baseball coach, I did have a kid make 2 outs in an inning and then we left him in the on deck circle.

going back to the Zaun double, that was just a pretty pathetic swing. I know someone else touched on it earlier, but it looked like a pitcher swinging the bat that just happened to get the barrel on the ball. Just ugly. No wonder his numbers vs LHP stink year in and year out.
