Was Marcum just picking at his finger there? Blister?

I noticed that too. "he better not have a blister" were my exact words to the gf.

nobody kills a rally like Betancourt and Kotsay
I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

The lateral positioning against howard I understand, but why did casey need to play so far in? Looked like he was up near the grass. Bunt protection?

Think there was a guy at 2nd. I'm sure they play there so he can't walk into 3rd by stealing it. We all know McGehee is not going to win any foot races

Our offense is terrible right now.
It's pretty much guaranteed to be terrible with Gomez hitting 2nd, and Betancourt and Kotsay in the lineup everyday. We basically need Week, Braun, Fielder, and McGehee all to be hot at once for our offense to be on. We really need Morgan and Hart in there. Badly.

Wow, Yuni actually showed some range on that play.

He was still a few steps on the SS side of 2nd on that. Most SS's make that play without having to do the little 'spin move' that he threw in there.

Have Bill and Brian mentioned any possibility of a blister? The guys at ESPN are clueless and haven't said a word, not even after he missed the plate by 6 feet.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

But Kotsay came to Milwaukee to win a World Series instead of hanging them up ... at least according to ESPN. http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o254/gjenkins05/wall.gif

When did the Phillies replace Jimmy Rollins with Derek Jeter? Doesn't seem to have much range up the middle anymore, either.

Yeah, Jimmy definitely looks like he's lost a step out there.

good thing that throw from Ibanez sucked because when I saw Lucroy rounding I thought he was out

Even an average throw gets lucroy easily, what a terrible throw from ibanez. (not complaining)
