He does know how to keep the players happy which actually may be more valuable than making the right tactical decision every time.

It's a big pet peeve of mine when fans boo the intentional walk when it's in an obvious situation. I can see it like when it was Bonds, and they just did it because they didn't wanna face him, but not in a situation like this.
