Bill Hall

He just got released by Houston

His numbers this year have not been pretty (obviously) and he has gone downhill since his breakout year in 06 with Milwaukee. But does anyone else have interest in him coming back as a bench option? Obviously he can play basically every position and it would be nice to have a little RH pop off the bench and he has to be a better option than Josh Wilson, right?

Maybe coming back with Dale Sveum will help him a little bit? I am probably just reaching a little bit here but would Bill Hall returning to Milwaukee make any sense?

Also, last time I checked Bill Hall wins games http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

He's actually the kind of guy we need. He can play third, short, and second. It's not like he'd be an every day player. I say why not.

Why not? Let's get the band back together. Billy & J.J. would make me happier than Batter 9 you sucky and Josh Wilson. Is Billy really going to hit worse than Wilson?

To quote the original post: BILL HALL WINS BALLGAMES!

I'd welcome him back with open arms. Him and Wilson may not have too much of a difference in terms of AVG, but Hall is a legit threat to put one in the seats.

Yes please...

I never thought I would ever be saying this... but Bill Hall would be a pretty nice upgrade at SS

Bill Hall's crappy season has been exponentially better than betancourt...getting him back would make me very happy

Is this in blue? Yes-Betancourt bad and needs replacement at deadline. But Hall has a bad attitude that the Brewers do not need. Hall thinks he is far better than he actually is and is perpetually lazy. This comes straight from one nameless coach with Crew.

I'm far more interested to see what Josh Wilson might add (today's GW HR was nice) than I am in seeing what Bill Hall can't do all over again. Sorry, folks, but I firmly believe Bill Hall just isn't good.
