THats right Greinke, put the ball on a tee. Cant these guys pitch anymore. I would take 2 more Marcums right now than Greinke and Gallardo.

Maybe Greinke is just the reincarnation of 3TO (without the walks) as a pitcher...ton of Ks and a ton of HRs.

I'm sorry but all of you sabermetrics and stats guys can say all you want, but Greinke is flat out not pitching well. It is officially time to consider him a dog so far this season. He's had three good outings, the rest of the season he has been a #5 starter. I'm hoping the best for him, but he flat out stinking up the joint so far this season.

In the long run, I still think Greinke will be fine. And starts like this may make a long term contract much more affordable for the Brewers. No one in the last decade has finished with a difference between ERA and FIP as large as Greinke´s currently is.

 

I expect an ERA in the mid to low 3s going forward, in spite of how he´s looked to this point of the season.

He's one complex case and always seems to leave a slightly sour taste in your mouth. His season has truly been enigmatic. One minute hitters are looking foolish and the next they're smoking him all over the park. Just goofy.
