its tough enough to come off the bench and pinch hit let alone come off the bench when you're struggling, not to mention that was a pretty good strike 3 pitch

I don't disagree. But Casey looks as lost as he has for most of the season and extemely unsure in his approach. Either you're taking the 2-0 all the way or you're looking to drive something. If he can't decide to drive a fastball right down the middle on 2-0, instead checking his swing on a pretty grooved fastball, that's pretty good evidence you are unsure in your approach.

Oh I totally agree, with you. That's why I'm so upset with the way this team is constructed and how players are used.

Of course I agree Kottaras should have hit for Yuni, but has Roenicke ever pinch hit for him? I don't remember it happening.

Hell I'd take Gomez over Yuni

Figured it was something like that.

Couldn't even move it up one spot to get the top of the order up next inning.

I still like their chances to put a rally together in the 9th. Let Kottaras lead off.

I think we're on the same page, jason. You have to remember that Casey was in there mostly for his glove. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I dislike Cordero with the Reds about as much as I've disliked any closer for any team. I think he may even have surpassed John Franco, which is setting the bar pretty high.

We have to get to Coco at least once before his contract is up.
Please. I can't stand watching him over-celebrate as though the Brewers somehow wronged him.

Only one guy struggled from the pen tonight. Unfortunately that's all it takes most of the time.

Come on bats! Beat CoCo. Everyone has done it at least once...

If Milwaukee and St Louis both fail to make 9th inning comebacks, the Pittsburgh Pirates will lead the NL Central in the loss column at the end of play tonight.
