What really bad movies do you secretly like?

I too just thought of one more. Armed and Dangerous with John Candy and Eugene Levy, as night watchmen. Robert Logia is the bad guy and Meg Ryan has a minor role. Terrible movie, but I watch it every time. Eugene Levy plays his usual cerebral comedy with Candy his usual stuff.

there's a dearth of charlton heston movies on this list, so with that in mind I add:

the omega man

soylent green

and one where chuck was noticeably absent

beneath the planet of the apes

and the modern version of the 70's heston movie:

the island...

finally, using my brilliant ability to predict the future:

Transformers

oops...forgot deep blue sea...hilarious

actually, also forgot

how high

kangaroo jack

and

i'm gonna get you sucka

Demolition Man - the seashells, taco bell winning the fast food wars.

Coneheads - Narfle the Garflog!

Dead Man on Campus - this movie has Zach Morris from Saved by the Bell.

Beastmaster - I haven't seen this in a while...but I loved it as a kid. I seem to remember these guys who wrapped you up and sucked your blood out.

Tremors - Just a fun movie

Reign of Fire - They're fighting dragons! Plus, when Matthew McConaughey dies...it's hilarious.

More movies:

Running Man

Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation

Tiny Toons was watched a ton as a youngin. Running Man is like a twisted version of American Gladiator, which was also awesome.

Krull

Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson is sooo underrated)

Rat Race (The Lovitz scene where he burned his tongue alone is worth rewatching it, that or the term 'prairie-dogging it.')

An American Werewolf in Paris

That Thing You Do

Hellboy

I, Robot

Elektra ( I heart Jennifer Garner, now she's been Affleked, completely traumatized to this day)

I always thought it was Rowdy Rowdy piper. Could my parents have been wrong? Could it have been Rowdy Roddy piper? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

Yeah "They Live" is amazing.

I'm also watching "Clean Slate" On Demand right now. Haven't seen it in a couple years, but I remember really getting a kick out of Dana Carvey.

Oh, and "Dirty Work"

I, for some reason, can not turn off either of "The Librarian" movies with Noah Wyle(sp?) and Bob Newhart. What's the verdict, are they good or bad ones I love?

They are bad movies. But if you're alone on a Friday night, they're very entertaining. I guess that's the best way I'd describe them. I think they're also geared towards a somewhat younger crowd...very kid friendly.

One of my all-time favorites. I have it on DVD.

Not sure why, but I just love watching that movie.

Any Troma Film, Toxic Avenger

Toxic Avenger mixed with watching as a teenager and lots of mind altering substances made that for an all time classic.

I remember friends and i walking through the halls in high school reciting lines from that movie and people looking at us dumbfounded.I would be curious to know what the budget for that movie was.

19.95 for the mop.

Toxic Avenger is a great one. They Live is a perfect movie for this thread as well. Rock n Roll High School with the Ramones is another one of my favorites.

I just thought of another one to add to the list -- the Peter Jackson classic "Dead Alive" complete with lawn-mowers and zombies.

I watched American Ninja 3 this morning before work, my god that is the worst acting and stunts i have ever seen.

-Ninja throws a star to knock the gun out of the heros hand from 20' away

-after stabbing a guy the hero looks at him and just yells "die!!!!"

-Two ninjas fire arrows, the hero catches each arrow in flight, does a summersault and throws, yes throws the arrows and kills the two ninjas.

I was watching the movie Open Water the other day. I like it, I don't know why especially when most of it is two people floating in an ocean.

Proxy vote from my wife:

Any disaster movie, even the made for TV versions. Twister, anything with a Volcano, basically anything from nature or man-made that can cause mass destrcution and bad acting.
