Was Gomez's hit close or did Ueck totally misjudge that one?

Maybe a foot or 2 short

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

He stinks as a hitter. He should never be near the top of the order.

Gomez might have a bad track record but he's been pretty dang good for the crew. He may never live up to your or scouts expectations but he's a good dad and a ball player that gives you all he has. Respect.

Aoki making things happen again today. I think he is going to be a very good player once he gets a little less streaky.

That'll happen when you're a rookie at 31 and never seen the pitching he does day in day out.

If I hear personal catcher again I'll throw up. Maldonado was twice the catcher at age 15. Idiots.

The next time anybody says luck has nothing to do with outcomes, just look at the results of the two-out doubles in each half of this inning.

Loe I'm sorry but ok, giving up the one on a single ground ball up the middle fine but to not bare down and get the next out and give up a screaming double to cf to tie it?

Does the fact that Wolf can apparently throw to Maldonado mean that Kottaras' days are numbered?

I would keep Kottaras on the bench as a back up bat at least.

You're right.. all it took was for Loe to bare down a little harder to get the out.

If he can't than he shouldnt be in the majors.

You just can't throw it over the heart of the plate and survive.

Is Veras responsible for this mess? Stepped away for 5 minutes and now this?

not surprising...

It must be scary for RR to look down into that bullpen in a close game and think to himself "so is there anybody down there who won't suck today"?

What worries me is as bad as this pen is, its almost inevitable that we see Vargas up at some point.

It's games like this that led Paul Simon to pen the immortal lyrics 'Where have you gone Takashi Saito? Brewer Nation turns its lonely eyes to you."
