Just got home from work, awesome to see my guy Rogers put up a great line.... why aren't we outright dropping these bums out of the bullpen? I was saying that everyone but axford could go but now he's creeping into the other category

If Roenicke was "playing the matchups" with Axford's 13.2 career innings against the Astros, there is no reason he shouldnt consider Henderson's sparkling 0.00 career ERA kn 0 innings of work against the Stros.

 

Roenicke is clueless on how to use statistical analysis. We're talking about a guy who would start Kotsay based on a career 3 for 10 line against a pitcher. Part of the reason that Axford had good career numbers against the Astros, Ron, is due to the fact that up until this season, Axford did pretty well against almost every team.

Unreal this pen cost Mark two wins already . Why RR did you not go with the hot reliever.Ax is done as a closer in 2012 at least. This one goes on RR without question.
