I think it will 100% depend on what the Brewers do. If they make a miracle run into the playoffs, then I really think it will be impossible for him not to win, even with how much the media hates Braun. If they don't make it, then it's an easy excuse to vote for Posey or somebody else.

And it is statistically high that you will score with a guy on third and 0 outs. Probably the same statistical probability as getting thrown out in that scenario. Definitely not worth the cost of potential injury.

I had a good laugh on ESPN earlier today. Braun wouldn't hit as many home runs at AT&T Park according to some mouth breather Giants fan.

 

When I pointed out that in 66 at bats at AT&T Park, Ryan Braun has a .364 AVG with 8 doubles, 2 triples, 6 home runs, 14 RBI, and a 1.227 OPS, he shut up. One home run every 11 at bats. Apparently, Braun doesn't have the same difficulty hitting the ball out of park in San Fran that Posey has.
