I'd like to see them survive tomorrow just to say they took it all the way to the last series of the season, but regardless, they had an all-time classic run these last two months that puts them into Team Streak territory for me.

I can say with the confidence of an in-person witness that on fan appreciation night, the most appreciated move of the 9th was RRR heading out to get Livan the hell out of the game. Woah.

 

The hawing party was denied a fan appreciation fabulous prize for the zillionth time, but it was nice to see someone in terrace reserved get the car - rather than a suite holder or the like. Nothing against suite holders (in case any are reading this), but you might have a better chance of affording a new car.

 

81 wins. That was my hope, only occasionally realized, for the majority of seasons since 1983. Given the lows of this season, I'd say a non-losing season counts for something. Still, I'd prefer at least 82 wins.
