If Weeks doesn't come through here he can bat right in front of the pitcher 8th. He needs to be done with the clean-up spot.

Sounds like a good way to make big decisions.

Swift and hard justice. Rickie must pay the "Iron Price."

Considering Weeks is not clutch at all, you bet it is. I have to admit, though, that was the best AB in a long time for Weeks, even though he got out. He FINALLY was able to catch up with mid-90's heat instead of swinging late by 2 feet.

unfreakingbelievable.....

damn giants are so lucky. two hard hit balls end up as outs yet the giants soft hits go for runs. BS

This is why WAR assumes that every team will win around 50 games no matter who is on the roster

Not a big fan of the bunt there. Braun is maybe not hot, but you've got speed hottest and best hitters coming up after that Schafer single. Give me the most chances at hits there.

I don't think Weeks is a gamer either.

Rickie Weeks is 2 for his last 34 (.059 AVG) with 17 strikeouts. How much more evidence do we need that he's not clutch, and certainly not worthy of batting in the #4 spot?

Enough is enough. He's God awful. Move him down in the lineup. Way down.

Agreed. That was one of the best at-bats of the year by Weeks. Really unlucky that it was hit right at the LF.

I think you are mixing up "clutch" with his general struggling at the present time. It's not that he isn't coming up short in late game situations only.

Weeks' best split is in the 3 hole. With Braun struggling, perhaps they should just switch spots?

Two problems solved!

Come on Henderson, throw a good strike...

Alright, that's enough with the balls here Henderson. Close play at 2 there...might have actually had him.

Whew, was nervous there. I'd call for a walkoff here, but not really feeling it from anyone coming up. Really...not feeling a HR from the entire lineup right now. Hope someone proves me wrong.

Throw it again in the same spot.
