Wish we could hammer Strasburg like we did in Milwaukee. That was with the split squad lineup, so the regulars have something to prove.

Scooter has no power, just a singles hitter.

So I'm in California for the month and would like to at the very least listen to the games while I'm out here, can anyone help a somewhat technologically disinclined brutha out? Many thanks.

MLB.TV might be worth a look. You'll be able to watch every game online. I don't think it should cost you more than $100?

Thanks livefor. Was looking at that but my billing address is in Wisco so I thought the crew might be blacked out? As long as I can get the radio feed I'll be happy with that.

You can buy the MLB At Bat for your iphone/android for $3 a month and get all radio for all games, no blackouts

And his "fluke" power last year resulted in a .479 slugging percentage. This year: .495.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen unless the rule is the play is dead when the interference happens, which seems stupid because just because there's interference doesn't prevent another out from being made.

I don't understand why the guy at 1B is not automatically out on the interference call at 2B. Shouldn't the runner going to first be automatically out on the attempt to turn the DP?

I am confused, but RRR understands, so it's not a big deal I guess...

Just read the rule, they both were supposed to be out. That makes 0 sense to call the batter safe.

Post the rule here so we can read it.

INTERFERENCE

(a) Offensive interference is an act by the team at bat which interferes with,

obstructs, impedes, hinders or confuses any fielder attempting to make a play.

If the umpire declares the batter, batter-runner, or a runner out for interference,

all other runners shall return to the last base that was in the judgment of the

umpire, legally touched at the time of the interference, unless otherwise provided

by these rules.

According to Ueck the throw beat Rendon anyway. Even if it didn't, how could he have reached first at the time of the interference, unless the interference happened well after the throw, and in that case how is it interference? It has to be a blown call.

The most common incidence of interference occurs when a member of the offensive team physically hinders the defensive team, decreasing its chances to make an out or increasing the chance that a baserunner will advance. Whenever this offensive interference occurs, the ball becomes dead. If the interference was committed by a batter or a baserunner, that player is called out and all other runners must return to the bases they occupied at the time of the interference. If interference is committed by a runner with the obvious intent of preventing a double play, the batter-runner will be called out in addition to the runner who committed the interference. If interference is committed by the batter-runner before he or she reaches first base with the possible intent of preventing a double play, the runner closest to scoring is called out in addition to the batter-runner. If interference is committed by a retired runner or by some other member of the offensive team, the runner who is most likely to have been put out will be called out.

Williams talked the umps into that call, and RR just let it happen, he should have been livid!!!

What a bunch of crap.

Btw....may be old news but I just found out my Roku will overlay Uecker on the tv broadcast. Looks like Extra Innings is gone next season.
