I did not care for Braun's effort on the play to right. If a guy has a no hitter going you need a better effort than that!

Braun should have caught that ball but it doesn't matter anymore anyways.

 

On a side note these Dodgers fans must really like fly balls because they start cheering like crazy at every fly ball the Dodgers hit.

Seems like yesterday but.... it's not. Points to him for some persistence.

Looked like Braun could have caught that ball. But even if it's close....with an out in the sixth inning and your starter throwing a no hitter, you make every attempt to catch that. This isn't a playoff game or an absolute must win....we have nothing to lose here. You gotta make an effort...absolute worst case he dives and misses, goes for a hr and we still have a 1 run lead.

 

It seemed like he saw it and just decided he couldn't catch it (though it certainly appeared he could have).

Wow Nelson has had the command working for him almost the whole night. Hitting the corners and creating lots of ground balls/weaker contact. Too bad Perez screwed him big time.

Unbelievable how crappy this team can play. Should have been out of this. Lazy defense costs Nelson.

Nice job Perez. Could you be an more nonchalant on that?? That's three in a week. Ramirez could have booted that just as easily. Then two bloopers and a crazy bounce and Nelson is on the hook for the loss.

 

Guy pitched awesome and certainly deserved better.

For a guy who kinow for Defense continues to make errors maybe next time he stays on the bench and lets Aram stay in the game. Still can't believe he booted an easy routine ball.

Nelson deserved better, really nice outing against a good lineup on the road. This season is over, so it's things like this Nelson outing that are "wins" for me.
